- 3 out of 5 stars review8/4/2026I have bought these sandwashed shorts for the past 2 years, but don't love this year's version. The leg openings are wider and because I don't have large hips or toosh, they flared out too much and you could see too much skin especially when I bend over. The weight of the material is good and they are high quality, but the overall style and fit is just not as good as prior years. I am 5'6 130 lbs waist 31-32 and normally wear a size large and these fit comfortably and the length was good, but the flared leg opening design did not fit my body type overall.
Leg openings are too wide

The new design features larger, wider leg openings, and with the added slits on each side, certain underwear can be visible. I also found the seam running up each leg at the front to be slightly irritating.
Please bring back 2025 MM Luxe Shorts

I am smack dab in the middle of a medium to large, 10 to 12. My legs are also, let's say more of a large size so the bottom parts of shorts is a big factor for me. I bought the large size first but went back and ordered the medium. The large is a bit baggy, but I can turn down the waist, but I definitely prefer the medium in this style. Plenty of room for my leg size. I think I bought them in every color! Highly recommend!!
