I purchased this brand based on reviews and price. I am glad I did. We use it to make boozy cocktails when we have company. Cocktails are frozen in about 30 mins. So far we have made margaritas, pina coladas , banana daquiris and wine slushies. We store it on our counter next to the refrigerator so it is ready to go at all times. I Noticed it works better in air conditioned house than outside which makes sense. My favorite part is the clean up. So easy and fast ! If something is hard to clean and time consuming I am unlikely to use it.

This looks really nice and sharp. I’ve been wanting one and the price was right, so I bought it. This is a machine that will take some patience and time to master but it’s not hard. I like the ability to add anything you want basically to create your own drink. The book that comes with the machine gives you some guidance and some troubleshooting but the internet helps more. The buttons are easy to see and push. Cleaning it is easy and it all comes apart so nothing will stay dirty. It’s a bit tall though. It’s super quiet to run. I like that you can easily add to the machine when it’s running. The pull down handle is easy to use. The black color will hide fingerprints and any stains. I brought home a jug of Red Hawaiian Punch and thought we’d make slushies with the grandchildren. We poured enough in to almost the full line (1/2 jug)and pushed Slushie. It churned for a while, then started to make a grinding noise, and then stopped churning for a minute and then started back up again. After looking it up, we decided to add more sugar. Deciding that we needed 2-3 tsp of sugar based on the volume of liquid we had and sugar content of the H.P. This was it! No problem after we added the additional sugar and the machine churned along, providing slushies. Discovered that the other popular slushie machine recipes do work in this machine so I’m excited to start trying them. I’ve bought some cold/hot drink bags with straws so I can refrigerate and/or freeze the slushies too. Excited about all the possibilities this machine has.

I really like this machine! It can turn almost anything into a slushy! You have to make sure that the items that you use have enough sugar because it will turn to hard ice and freeze too soon if you’re not careful. Also I’ve learned that you have to lower the thickness on the preset to level 2 and build up to the thickness you want, never start out on level 4 or higher. I would definitely recommend this product for someone who loves to host or have a big family because it’s hard to make a one person amount, you usually have to put at least 20 oz. in the machine in order for it to work correctly, even though it says 16 oz. is the lowest amount. In my experience it will not work correctly at 16 oz. Also if you want to slush like a sports drink or any sodas you need to use the juice preset and lower it to level 2 and work your way up as previously mentioned. I’m still learning how to use this machine and I’m very excited and happy with my purchase!

I love this my kiddos love it all we have made so far is slushies but they are great. finding out it's touchy about the sugar, certain Kool aid does not work unless you add more sugar.. juice does not thicken if you don't add more sugar(only Welches) so if you're trying to avoid sugar not a good machine for you.

So far I have only used this machine once. The slushie was a bit on the sweet side and very thick...will keep working with it. One thing I will say is I froze the extra when I was done and when I went back to use some of it there were no large ice crystals in it and the texture was still consistent. I am looking forward to getting the hang of it.

Great sale price. Good for slushies though takes almost 30 minutes to freeze, but not good for milkshakes. Milkshakes come out too airy and icy. Not recommended if you're primary focus is milkshakes.

This machine happened to be on sale, so I took a chance on it...despite being a huge Ninja supporter! I used this machine twice! On the 3rd time, lights started blinking. I tried restarting it, same thing. Looked in the manual and found that the lights were indicating that the motor was no longer working! Maybe a lesson for straying away from the Ninja products? ha. Anyways, buy with caution! My children are very disappointed!

Had on for over an hour and drinks NEVER GOT SLUSHIE. I returned to store after several uses but machine never turned liquids into slushies.
