[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start by saying this shampoo did leave my hair feeling very soft and the vanilla & cashmere smell was amazing! However, I have very fine/thin hair and I seem to have run into a problem where the products left my hair feeling heavy. It also claims to have a detangler in it, but I had a ton of knots in my hair when brushing it out after the shower (more than usual is what I mean). I love Native products, this one just didn’t work out for me.

I don’t need to use a lot of either product to get it well incorporated into my hair, which is great because I have long thicker hair. My hair feels clean after using, but even after conditioning, my hair feels a little dry after using this set, so I always have to use a leave in conditioner product in addition.

They're made with rice bran water and oil to moisturize hair while reducing frizz. They come in large bottles that would last anyone a long while, and just a little product goes quite a long way! The shampoo is great for leaving your hair and scalp feeling clean without causing dryness or stiffness. The conditioner then makes your hair super soft and provides a beautiful shine. I also really love how strong the scent of vanilla is, especially how it lingers for a while after the product is rinsed out. Likewise, these products being cruelty-free and gentle make them all the more worth it.
