Pretty good but not for shag rugs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is pretty good. It is easy to use, if maybe a little clunky feeling compared to my higher-end stick vac. The quality seems great for a low- to mid-range vacuum. It feels comparable in quality to my upright vacuum at a similar price point. The battery life is good. I think I did about 3 cleaning sessions (about 500 sqft each, so approximately 1500 sqft total) before the battery started getting low. I love that it is free-standing so I can easily leave it mid-vacuum to move things without worrying too much about it tipping over, and then I can easily resume vacuuming. The headlights are nice. I can easily see what I'm vacuuming, even in dimmer environments. They are not as great as the lasers for highlighting dust and debris though. I like the wall mount and tools that come with the vacuum. There is a good variety of your standard tools. They work pretty well, although it can be difficult to get them to lock into place properly. The vacuum works well on low-pile rugs, upholstery, and hard floors, though not very well for picking up fine dust on hard surfaces. It also does not work at all on my shaggy rug. It tangles up in the roller and then stops, so I don't recommend this vacuum if you have long-pile rugs or carpet. I don't have any pets, so no pet fur around my house for the vacuum to pick up, so I'm not sure if it lives up to its claims there, but I did appreciate how easily you can clean hair out of the dust bin and filter area when emptying the cup. However, even after only a few weeks of use, there are some tangled hairs around the brush roller, so I'm not super impressed there. The brush roller comes out pretty easily to clean, but there isn't access to the inner bar where the hair wraps the most, so I foresee it being an issue with prolonged use, especially if there is anyone with long hair in the house. In summary: Pros: Self standing, good battery life, ease of cleaning the filter and dust cup, good lighting, good price. Cons: Doesn't work on longer pile or shag carpets and rugs, still gets hair-wrap around the brush roller, has a somewhat clunky feel, a little heavy for prolonged use. All in all, I think it's a decent vacuum for the price, and it has some nice features. I would recommend it for this price range as long you don't have longer-pile or shag carpets or rugs, and you don't need it to dust mop your floors, for instance if you have a lot of wood flooring.
Great vacuum for pet hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the stick vac was that it is really easy to use, easy to put together and picks up a lot of pet fur. I have two cats and a shorthaired dog and we constantly deal with pet fur in our household. We have multiple surfaces including tile, hardwood and rugs and the vacuum preformed great on each of these surfaces. It’s not too loud either. With one use on the rug, the fur finding tool picked up so much hair. I loved the headlight feature which illuminates hair and dust that is easily missed without it. I love how the vacuum stands on its own without having to lean it up against something. I also noticed that the brush roll does not have long bristles that make getting hair cleaned off so much easier. Overall I really like this vacuum and am excited to use it in my home.
Greatstickvacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were really impressed by this stick vac! We have a messy toddler who leaves crumbs and messes all over our floors and this vac made cleaning up feel like fun and not a chore. It easily transitioned from tile to wood floors to rugs and did amazing everywhere. I even used it on the couch and it was absolutely fantastic to pick up dust, crumbs, and pet fur from our cat. I really noticed a difference in using this tool vs our older hand held vacuum. I especially love how easy this vacuum is to handle, wrangle around tight spaces, and so easy to store it away. I’m so happy with this vacuum! Highly recommend
So Easy, I Actually Use It Every Day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it has been a total game-changer—seriously. With two dogs, two cats, and a crawling baby, pet hair is everywhere, all the time. I used to dread dragging out the heavy corded vacuum, but now I grab this one at least once a day because it's so easy to use. It's lightweight and has great suction. The FurFinder tool is amazing for furniture and stairs—it actually pulls up the embedded pet hair. I've been using it to clean under my couch cushions and my stairs weekly. The FurFinder Headlights - Honestly, I didn't think I'd care about them that much, but they've been a game-changer in actually seeing the fur. They light up ALL the hidden fur and dust! It's actually scary seeing it in such clarity. The brush roll works pretty great. I've had vacuums that constantly get clogged with pet hair, but I haven't had to stop and cut hair out of this one yet. The only downside? I wish the battery lasted longer. But if the trade-off is keeping it lightweight, I'll take it. I just got into the habit of charging it after each use, and it hasn't been an issue. I don't write a ton of rave reviews, but this one deserves it. If you have shedding pets and need something powerful, lightweight, and actually convenient to use, this vacuum is 100% worth it.
Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this stick vacuum. I have used it everyday since I got it. With the level of suction function, I was able to effortlessly move from vinyl floors to rugs and carpets. My favorite feature would have to be the headlights they really to help illuminate all the hair and dust on the floor. I do have darker floors so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. The headlights are also on the furfinder tool which works great at getting pet hair off of couches and other surfaces. The tangle free brush is a must in my house as both my daughter and I have extremely long hair. To clean the brush is so easy and there was little to no hair wrapped around which I was amazed. I also like how it is able to stand on its own so if you need to move further or what not, without it falling. It is also easy to switch between attachments. My only notes would be it sometimes has a hard time with bigger crumbs like chips or granola. Also, any furniture that sits lower than 5in off the ground you won't be able to stick the whole vacuum under. And lastly with the headlights I was able to see that really fine dirt from feet or shoes isn't always picked up. But that if fine with me. I'm just glad I know it's there now and use a dry mop to get it. Overall really impressed with this product and would highly recommend.
So impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with this vacuum!! I have two short haired dogs with white fur and on my light floors, I don’t see much hair at all. But once I turned on the vacuum and the fur finder headlights lit up, I couldn’t believe how much hair there was! I find myself vacuuming multiple times a day now just because of how quick and easy this is to use. Rather than getting behind and having to deep clean, I love that I can maintain clean floors this way. The self standing design is so nice when I need to stop quickly and tend to something without having to find the right surface to prop it up on. Definitely not a “must have” feature but it’s a huge plus. The lightness and quick detach with the foot pedal is great for quickly transitioning to vacuuming the couch. Another great feature that I didn’t know I was missing is the brush and angled attachment in one. Simply sliding back the brush rather than changing out the attachment completely is brilliant! It’s great on our thin washable rugs that usually get sucked up into vacuums, somehow this doesn’t and glides right over yet still gets all the dog hair. Overall I love how every feature seems to have been thought out with ease of use in mind. Like I said at the beginning I am so impressed!
Fabulous FurFinder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Powerclean FurFinder vacuum did a great job at picking up all the pet hair in my house. It was very easy to put together out of the box. The vacuum also came with tools and a wall mount. It took about an hour or two to fully charge. The charging port was a little hard to access. The vacuum appears to be built very well with sturdy materials. However it felt a little heavy while vacuuming around house. Maybe it will take some time to get used to the weight. I really liked the fact that the vacuum can stand upright by itself when not in use. I also appreciated that the power stays on with one click. Some vacuums have to push and hold the power button. Not this one which is great. There were three levels of suction. I found the middle one to be sufficient. It’s nice that the vacuum starts in the middle level every time. We mostly used the vacuum on tile floors with a little bit of carpet. It handles all surfaces very well. The headlight was bright enough to see all the debris and pet hair on the floor. Nice feature to have. I don’t know how long the vacuum lasts on a full charge but I was able to vacuum the first floor without it dying. Overall the vacuum has been easy to use and has made cleaning the house much better.
Better than we expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product by Stellar Product Testing Company in return for an honest review. Before receiving this vacuum we used a cheap stick vacuum and a "smart" robot vacuum to keep our main floor clean (mostly laminate, a couple of rugs, one carpet room) and occasionally would bring the full size vacuum downstairs for a deeper cleaning and the couch. No more! This vacuum is great for quick spot cleaning as well as a full floor cleaning and I feel it does ALMOST as well as the full sized vacuum due to the roller brush, but it's just slightly too small for some debris on the floor. What I love: the ease for switching from vacuum to pole to handheld, the ease of using the handheld to clean the couch (compared to an attachment on the vacuum hose and having it fall all over), and it's remarkably quiet for a powerful vacuum What I would like to see improved: the battery life could be better, it almost isn't enough for our main floor (especially if we need turbo)
My New Favorite Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is my new favorite vacuum. As soon as I used it it was getting up so much fur, dust and crumbs way more than my other vacuum, especially on our wood floor. The reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because it didn’t do the best job of getting all the small crumbs off our rugs that our dogs bring in. I would have to go over it a few times and some of the crumbs would still be there. The FurFinder Headlights were incredible and helped highlight all the fur and debris. Without them I would have thought nothing was there and then as soon as I used the vacuum, it would show everything. The vacuum was very easy to use, lightweight, and I love that it can stand on its own (one of my favorite features). Also, it’s nice you can leave the stick vacuum attachment standing up to empty the dispenser. I especially like the hanging wall charger so I can store it off the floor. We live in a 1200 SF house and we were able to vacuum our first floor multiple times before needing to charge it. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder.
Furmamas best friend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell did not disappoint with this new stick vac as part of their lineup focused on cleaning up pet messes. It features some of the most basic yet necessary functions that sets this apart from other stick vacs. For one, the furfinder headlights shine a surprisingly strong light that embarassingly but oh so helpfully shows you just how dirty your floor really is. It works phenomenally for hardwood and tiled surfaces. The vacuum itself works really well on carpets and rugs too but the light feature doesn't really help as much on those surfaces. The vacuum turns on and stays on with the press of a button. No more sore finger from holding the trigger just to clean! The power settings boost pretty well too. I have a Ruggable at home that is a little finicky to vacuum because if the suction is too strong, the top layer of the rug gets suctioned off the base layer. This vacuum actually managed to clean out the dog fur that I imagine has been stuck between the threads for some time. If you put it on the strongest setting the vacuum will stop rolling so it took a tiny trial and error but I figured out which settings to use for all the different surfaces in my home. The attachment heads were all pretty useful although I did find myself just going back to the widest flat one to clean floors the most. Still nice to have the options. My family members repeatedly pick up this vacuum over others in our house too. I love that it can actually stand on its own without a mounting bracket. I have an exploring little one at home so mine hides in the bathroom lol but even while going from room to room, it is so helpful that this can stand upright without falling over. Cleaning the vacuum is so easy, the tangle free brush roll really does make things easier. My fur baby has short fur, but my long hair gets tangled up in brush rolls -- not in this one though. Pulling out a little pail that had neatly collected all the mess is a simple task and while at first I wasn't a huge fan of emptying this vacuum out, I have come to appreciate the ability to just carry the dirt pail away separately from the vacuum.
