With two dogs, a cat, and two kids constantly tracking in messes, I needed something reliable, and the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder really delivered. It handled every surface in my home with ease, from carpet to tile to hardwood, it picked everything up without a problem. The FurFinder tool made a huge difference on my furniture; my couch finally looks like a couch again, not a fur-covered throw pillow. It even pulled up hair I didn’t realize was there. The built-in headlights were a surprisingly helpful feature. They made it easy to spot dust and pet hair hiding under furniture, and made cleaning feel a lot more precise. It’s easy to maneuver, lightweight, and the self-standing design is a thoughtful touch. The tangle-free brush roll has saved me from the usual mess of cutting out stuck hair. My dog Nala has very fine hair that’s hard to see, but somehow manages to get everywhere. I was stunned by how much hair the vacuum picked up from both the carpet and couch in just one pass. It made a noticeable difference immediately. The FurFinder tool is incredibly effective on upholstery and furniture. It removed embedded pet hair that other vacuums have missed, making my cleaning routine much quicker and more thorough. I even brought the vacuum up onto the couch—it's so lightweight that this was no problem at all. It also did a fantastic job on my tile floors. The suction is strong and consistent across different surfaces, and the brush roll really does resist tangles like it claims. The vacuum charges quickly too, which is a nice bonus. The FurFinder Headlights were surprisingly helpful. They clearly illuminated pet hair and debris I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise—especially under furniture and in corners—so I could clean with confidence that I wasn’t leaving anything behind. It never fully gets out of my rugs or furniture. I was sooo impressed by this vacuum cleaner. I definitely felt like it specifically targeted all the pet hair while still being an overall good vacuum cleaner. It was light weight and easy to maneuver. The lights definitely help me see all the hairs which makes me crazy to see all the hairs but can clearly see how much it’s cleaning up!! It’s definitely my go to and I think will save me lots of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about this vacuum is that it has headlights that makes it super easy to spot and grab pet hair and other small debris. We have a golden retriever and the floor is beige, so it is actually pretty hard to see the pet hair, but it is there all the time. Besides that, it is really great vacuum overall, that works well on a variety of surfaces, and can also be used on upholstery. I like that it has a self-standing design that allows you to store it standing - fits in a smaller space. Battery seems to work for a decent amount of time, and recharging is quick and easy. Overall I would say this is a great stick vacuum, especially if you have pets and need to do quick cleans and touch ups all the time.

Pros: lightweight, easy to maneuver, powerful suction, easy detatchment of the various attachments, good battery life, stands upright on its own. Cons: pinched my fingers once inserting the battery [I'll admit I wasn't even slightly paying attention at the time], takes two hands to empty the trap, no light when you remove the large attachment [I would love a vacuum that allows me to see what I'm sucking up behind furniture], not great on high pile rugs (though it is adequate!). I've rated it 5 stars because the pros far outweigh the cons!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family really loves this powerful little vacuum, and it has replaced our heavy, full-sized upright for all but the toughest jobs. And I say this as a parent to a toddler crumb factory and a large dog losing her dense winter coat. Some pros right out of the box: This thing is lightweight and super easy to maneuver around the house, especially going from rugs to hardwood and up and down stairs. The cordless feature is wonderful—just charge the removable battery and go! The battery lasted probably 35 minutes on a full charge using mostly the lowest suction setting, which is the perfect amount of time to refresh all of the floor space on our first floor (admittedly small house). No fighting with or tripping over cords. The design is sleek and lacks the bulk of a lot of other models—so much so that I store this in our coat closet now to keep it ready for quick, everyday jobs. Not lugging out the big vac means we are using it more, and our floors are cleaner as a result. It’s not a feature I normally look for, but I was impressed by the headlights on this thing. They really illuminated all of the corners and the perimeter under our kitchen counters where crumbs really like to hang out. I also really love that you can mount the vacuum to the wall, charge the whole thing standing upright in a corner, or remove and charge just the battery. In a small, high-traffic house I don’t always have room to charge a large appliance, and for me it’s great to leave the vacuum in the closet and charge just the battery. Well done, Bissell, for thinking of this. Finally, this vacuum has useful tools already built in, like a crevice tool, and a tool for removing pet hair, both of which work well. The ‘Fur Finder’ was great on the section of the couch where our dog likes to hang out. My only real con for this (and all stick vacuums, really) is that the run time is less than an hour, so you probably aren’t going to be thoroughly vacuuming your whole house on one charge, and there isn’t an option to plug it into a wall outlet and keep going. With this model, though, backup batteries are sold separately, which is definitely an option I will look into. And finally, on our darker, short pile rugs where the pet bar is really woven in, this vacuum couldn’t fully compete with a traditional beater bar for lifting up hair up in a few passes, so I won’t be throwing my big upright out totally. But the old upright HAS been relegated to the basement, and I’ve only lugged it back upstairs for the really big jobs. The Bissell PowerClean has otherwise replaced it, and done it well. I should also add that my partner, who is normally not much of a vacuumer, loves this one and has used it as much as I have. In sum, this is a very nicely-designed, strong-performing stick vac that has quickly become our family’s go-to.

We have a baby and a cat who sheds like crazy and this has been so nice to do a quick clean up. The engine is very powerful and does a wonderful job getting the fur up and out of carpet. It also is very easy to maneuver and works well on tile and laminate flooring too. We mounted this right near our cats area and have used it almost daily to get litter and fur, the headlights are so helpful for finding areas we have previously missed. I love some of the features such as the brush roll and free standing feature. The only feedback that I have is that the wall mount is oversized and can be difficult to find a spot in small spaces to mount. The large mount might be necessary for the design though since it is a free standing feature. Absolutely obsessed with this vacuum and so grateful to have it to keep our home tidier!

The vacuum itself is very easy to assemble and charge. Charging takes around 2-3 hours and lasts for so long. I was able to vacuum my 2 story home AND my couch and dining chairs with juice left for quick clean ups through the week. I have a long hair cat and two toddlers with tons of hair and the ability to make huge messes. The PowerClean did not disappoint cleaning up after them. The light on the front is so helpful to find all the fur and debris on our wood floors. A quick pop from the top and you can add the fur finder to get the couches and chairs. It too has a light on the front to help find embedded fur. I love using it as a hand held for small messes too. The suction is incredible all while being extremely quiet! That's a huge plus for me since I don't want my cat to get scared. He slept through me cleaning the whole house the other day. I highly recommend the PowerClean to anyone with furry babes! You'll end up loving to vacuum!

Long review: I opened the box and thought the vacuum looked and felt a little cheaper than other stick vacuums I’ve had before. That is really my only “complaint.” The headlight is my favorite feature! I have mostly wood and tile floors so I turn the lights off and the vacuum light shows me exactly where I’ve been and where I’ve missed. I love how easily it comes apart. You can step on the lever to detach the vacuum head to get in corners or behind things. I can have a baby on my hip and still get my vacuuming done! It’s light weight; my kids love being able to help vacuum! I like being able to see how much stuff I’m sucking up and when I need to dump the bin. The charge lasts for multiple rounds of cleaning. I’m not sure I’ve used my upright vacuum since getting this one. I can get from one end of the house to the other without having to stop to unplug and plug it back in multiple times! I also love the holder— I don’t have to dig through the closet anymore for attachments! The little fur finder attachment works wonders on the couch. I wish I had pictures! The head is also low enough it can get clear under my coffee table and my media center without having to move either one. I hope this stick vacuum lasts for a long time, because I’m a big fan!
