This is a great stick vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this stick vacuum arrived at my home my floors were covered in sheetrock dust from a recent remodel, cat hair, and spilled cereal from my three small children, and I had guests arriving the next day. I didn't anticipate just how amazing the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder would do! It got up all the dust, all the cat hair, and all of the crumbs in one go! The ultra bright light on the front of the vacuum made it super easy to find all of the dust and fur on the floor and see under the furniture. The attachments made cleaning the furniture, baseboards, ceiling fans, and every nook and cranny very easy and efficient. It took a couple of hours to charge it up, but the charge lasted long enough to vacuum my entire 1500 sq foot house. It did very well on my hard floors and short pile rugs, and did better than any other vacuum I've had on my long pile rug. I love that the vacuum head comes off with the push of a switch that can be easily done with my foot so I don't even have to stop to transition from vacuuming the floor to vacuuming behind furniture. And while it's not the lightest stick vacuum I've ever used it's still very lightweight, definitely lightly enough for me to use while toting around a toddler on my hip. I was so blessed to have the opportunity to get this vacuum for free through the Stellar Review Panel, and the timing couldn't have been better, this vacuum is the best I've ever tried!
Bissel Vacuum to the Rescue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I’m really impressed with this vacuum! With two animals and two kids in the house, we deal with plenty of fur, crumbs, and dust, and this stick vac has made a noticeable difference in our daily cleaning routine. Performance on Various Surfaces: It performs beautifully on both hard floors and carpets. It transitions seamlessly between the two, picking up pet hair, dust, and debris without any issues. It actually feels easier to maneuver than our previous handheld, despite being a bit heavier. Effectiveness of the FurFinder Tool: The FurFinder tool is awesome for tackling embedded pet hair on furniture and upholstery. It really pulls out the hair that tends to get woven into our couch cushions, and I’ve noticed way less lingering fur since we started using it. FurFinder Headlights: I absolutely love the headlights — they make a huge difference in spotting hidden hair and dust bunnies under furniture and along baseboards. It’s one of my favorite features and makes cleaning oddly satisfying. Ease of Use & Design: This vacuum is super easy to use. The self-standing design is convenient when you need to pause mid-clean, and the tangle-free brush roll really lives up to its promise. The only small downside is that after about a month, the wheels have started to squeak a little, but it hasn’t affected performance, and I’m still completely obsessed with this vac. Final Thoughts: We use this vacuum every day, and it’s quickly become a household favorite. Great suction, solid battery life on medium/low, and perfect for pet owners. Highly recommend!
Goodbye fur
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder was easy to take out of the box and assemble. I like how you can switch from a stick vacuum to a handheld making this vacuum ultra versatile. I can easily clean the stairs or furniture by using it as a handheld or clean floor with the stick vacuum. I like that you have the ability to control the level of suction so you can really capture all the fur. I do wish that this was even a little bit more powerful but I was really impressed with all the fur this was able to clean up. Battery life was good and I liked the included attachments.
It does it all!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the PowerClean FurFinder from the Stellar Panel Testing Panel and I've never been more excited to vacuum my home! The vacuum itself is very easy to assemble and charge. Charging takes around 2-3 hours and lasts for so long. I was able to vacuum my 2 story home AND my couch and dining chairs with juice left for quick clean ups through the week. I have a long hair cat and two toddlers with tons of hair and the ability to make huge messes. The PowerClean did not disappoint cleaning up after them. The light on the front is so helpful to find all the fur and debris on our wood floors. A quick pop from the top and you can add the fur finder to get the couches and chairs. It too has a light on the front to help find embedded fur. I love using it as a hand held for small messes too. The suction is incredible all while being extremely quiet! That's a huge plus for me since I don't want my cat to get scared. He slept through me cleaning the whole house the other day. I highly recommend the PowerClean to anyone with furry babes! You'll end up loving to vacuum!
Really Great Vacuum with Thoughtful Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd like to start with admitting to the group I am a total clean freak. But with a toddler and a shed-happy dog running around, I've had to, er, sacrifice here and there on having a spotless house. Enter the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder! This stick vacuum has totally made my cleaning routine so much easier. The built-in headlights (which to be honest I originally thought may be gimmicky) are surprisingly useful—being able to actually see the dust, fur, and crumbs makes a huge difference, especially under furniture or along the baseboards. The fact that it stands up on its own is a total win for me. As a parent, I’m often pulled away mid-vacuuming from someone knocking something over or reaching for something they shouldn't be (see: husband, dog OR child) and not having to worry about it tipping over while I handle the chaos is a big relief! My old stick vacuum would require me to prop it up carefully against a corner before making my exit. Not anymore! I love that it is for use on both hardwoods and carpets, and seems to do a fantastic job at cleaning both. It does come with several attachments which makes it super versatile for everything from floors to furniture. I just spent an entire afternoon using the finer detailing attachments to deep clean under my couch cushions and let me just say headlights under those? Terrifying! Yet, soooo satisfying to clean. I found that it was very effective at pulling most (but not all) of the pet hair embedded underneath. The dust bin is easy to remove and empty, which is great for managing my allergies. The only downsides I’ve noticed: the suction isn’t quite as powerful as some older models I’ve used but I would say it definitely still gets the job done. I also wonder if I may just notice more dust now left behind with the headlights so it could be a placebo effect! Lastly, the power adjustment button could be more user-friendly compared to my older vacuum. Since it's the same button for both higher and lower settings, you have to keep pressing it to cycle through. Not a dealbreaker, just a little annoying. Overall, it's a well-designed and super effective vacuum that fits right into my messy life! I highly recommend.
Valuable tool for busy pet parents
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say this product has truly been a lifesaver for my busy family of 6 with 2 fur babies and 2 human babies. I found this to be so easy to use and so effective at getting all the pesky dog hair, crumbs and sand off our floors. I highly recommend this product! First, I have never owned a cordless stick vacuum and I don’t think I could ever go back. It’s so much more convenient not having to plug it in, trip over the cord and keep moving it for each room. It was also fairly lightweight compared to my other corded pet vacuums and probably even lighter than our robot vacuum. In addition, the light truly illuminated all the pesky hairs that I didn’t even know were there and helped me ensure I didn’t miss any spot. I also liked that it had 3 different heads to the vacuum for different needs. I used the big standard vacuum head most but since I don’t have fabric furniture or carpets the special pet attachment didn’t serve any additional benefit for me personally. But let me tell you, the fact that it actually stands on its own, not just says that it does and falls over constantly was so nice and even better that it has a wall mount hook for it. Finally, I found that I got about 35 minutes out of a single charge and that mostly cleaned my 1500 sq foot home. I even loved that it was easy enough to use that both my 3 year old and 6 year old were able to use it. This is sure to be a great way to give my kiddos responsibility over their own messes. While there were several benefits to this vacuum there were a few things that fell a bit short, mostly the suction. Now, I thought it picked up the dog hair on my hardwood floors very well; however, I think if I had carpet or when I tried picking up larger messes, it didn’t quite contend with the corded vacuums I own. Second, I feel like it did take a good 45 minutes to an hour to charge up and wasn’t able to finish vacuuming my whole house. Overall, this is a fabulous tool to help busy families with pets and/or children. This is a quick easy way to keep things tidy and clean but not ideal for big deep cleaning jobs. I would recommend this for families with hard floors and no fabric furniture.
lots of power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was really impressed with this stick vacuum. It had strong, powerful suction for cleaning both hardwood floors and carpeted surfaces. I have a cat with long hair and getting that hair out of carpets is notoriously hard. This vacuum's FurFinder tool did a great job of removing the hair and not dragging it around. Instead of having to go over the rugs with a vacuum numerous times I only had to go over it once. I was slightly horrified to see all of the dust, pet hair, and crumbs on the floor when I used the headlights. I love the self-standing design so that it doesn't fall over when propped up. At times the brush roll did pick up long hair from myself and my daughter requiring a little bit of detangling. Overall this vacuum worked great and I would recommend to anyone with pets or messy children (or husbands!).
I could not stop vacuuming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I received this vacuum, I opened it and started using it within minutes! I could not stop vacuuming. The light on the front of this is so great so that you can see all of the pet hair that you are picking up. It's so satisfying! The attachments are so easy to use for hair on the sofa or a dining room chair. The vacuum is so light to push and carry around that it's now become my 8 year old's favorite chore. Emptying the canister is a bit tricky at first, but after 1 or 2 times, it was easy to do. The reason for the 4 star review is because it doesn't hold a charge for the full 40 minutes that it claims. I get a good 25 minutes on the lowest speed until it quits, but it's enough time to get most of my floors done. All in all, great vacuum for pets and kids!
Amazing for dog owners with hard floors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The great: This vacuum is easy to use, its rubber coated wheels roll and maneuver well on hard flooring. I love that the unit can stand up on its own, it makes it so much easier than other stick vacs if you get interrupted in the middle of a clean up. The dirt tank is also surprisingly large which lets you cover a lot of ground before having to make a trip to empty it out (more on that later). I also love the "fur finder" lights, although it may sound like a gimmick, it's almost scary how well they highlight dust and fur on what you thought might have been a clean floor. The good: The vacuum is surprisingly quite, and barely upsets my golden retriever who hates vacuums religiously. Battery life is also good, and the battery is removable which is a great feature compared to some other brands. Suction power is good for a battery powered unit and has no issues with lots of dog hair or the occasional bit of stuffing from a dog toy. I also found the big floorhead to work well enough on area rugs or low pile carpet. The bad: The included upholstery attachment also has the fur finding lights, but it bogs down on all of my upholstery making it pretty much useless in my home. I also think the floor attachment lacks power for a high pile carpet which is not an issue for me but could easily be a problem for folks with primarily carpeted flooring. While I love how much fur and dust the dustbin can hold, the spindle design traps dog hair and dirt around the spindle requiring you to pull it off and dirty your hands. It's not a deal breaker, but not ideal when compared to other systems that can be emptied without hassle.
Light up the fur
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is a good value stick vacuum. It is compact and stands on its own, which at times is very helpful, particularly if you have a space that it won't be bumped often. It is sturdy and has a good amount of features, of which my favorite was the light illuminating the fur and dirt on the floor and on my upholstery. It was especially surprising that the small fur finder attachment also had a light, which was really great as that attachment did a great job of finding and vacuuming up the dog hair in my house. While I enjoyed seeing the fur, my partner wasn't as excited about seeing how dirty the light made our floors look. Aside from the fur finder tool, which we liked, the crevice tool, while handy to have a built in sliding tool on it, didn't allow us to get very far into the crevices as the sliding portion only slid back a few inches, where we were used to having 6 or more inches of the crevice too. The vacuum is sturdy and quite light, however a bit heavier than other, more expensive stick vacuum. The dirt collection container could be a bit bigger, but it is easy to clean and put back together. Also, we have just under 1500 square feet and the battery did not last long enough to thoroughly clean the entire house on the mid setting. We also do a quick vacuum of our throw rugs throughout the house and the vacuum shut off in the higher pile rugs. It is really nice to not have to hold the power button on the entire time and just turn it on and adjust the setting to your desired use case, vacuum and turn off. I really liked this vacuum and it is reasonably priced compared to others in the market. If you have a smaller area to clean, this vacuum is perfect. If you are interested, they do offer the option of having another battery to switch in, which is a great option and this was more convenient on the Bissell than others I have used. While simple with the right amount of attachments and options, this is a good stick vacuum for the value it provides.
