It’s super easy to use, and I love that there’s no cord—I’m not stuck to the wall the whole time or tripping over a cord. It is really simple, intuitive and straightforward to use, which I appreciate- I did not even read the instructions. The headlights on the vac are my favorite part. They show all the hair and crumbs you wouldn’t even see otherwise. Kind of gross, but satisfying to clean up. I actually used my vacuumn after my house keeper left, and found so much more to pick up after it had been cleaned by another vacuumn. It’s got enough power to handle pet hair and kid chaos, and the FurFinder tool worked surprisingly well on the couch and chairs. Definitely made cleaning feel less annoying, so I will be looking forward to using this to upkeep my house more often that I normally do because it feels easy to do. My only feedback would be, if you are using this for a long time, the vacuum can feel a bit heavy because of where the motor is mounted. But, that is how the vac is so powerful, so maybe it is a trade off. Also love that we can just mount it on the wall when we’re done, so it’s not just laying around. Overall, it’s been a solid little vac and makes cleanup way less of a hassle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been hoping to try a cordless stick vac for a while now as I have 2 cats and 2 preschool-aged boys (so they create lots of messes but keep me relatively busy, meaning the best opportunity I have to clean is after my kids go to bed, but of course that means that anything loud is out). I don't have any other experience with a stick vac to compare it to but I found this to be more effective than I thought it would be. It runs quiet enough that I am not worried about using it downstairs after bedtime, but still has enough suction power (at the medium power level, which is also the default level the vacuum turns on at) to pick up most of the messes on my floors (which are made up of a mix of wall to wall carpeting, hardwood floors, tile floors, vinyl floors, and area rugs). I did not expect it to perform well on the carpeted areas or area rugs but it did really well on low-pile rugs (but it jammed up the roller when used on the more shaggy area rugs we have) and decently well on our carpet. There is a carpeted corner where our black cat's bed was located for years but recently was thrown away (and not replaced) and there is a very clear ring of cat fur where the bed used to be. This stick vac was able to clean up most of it without much trouble on medium power (pictures showing the before and after). The lights are extremely helpful (my full size corded vacuum also has lights) and I will never go back to using a vacuum without them! The battery life is decent - we have an ~2,700 square foot house and I can vacuum about one floor of the house (minus the carpeted stairs, we have a split level home so there are a lot of stairs) on one charge using medium power (we can do half the house plus stairs if using low power exclusively. I have not tried high power as the instructions state that it is not good for battery life to use that mode too often). I found the canister to be sized right and I generally did not need to empty it partway through vacuuming but definitely filled it by the time the battery ran out. The only major con for this vacuum is that I did find it to be rather heavy (although it was still extremely maneuverable, but I probably will not be using it to clean anything overhead). Overall, I love this vacuum and it makes it really easy for me to quickly pull it out and vacuum (relatively quietly) in a few different places (it's really nice not to have to find an outlet, especially since we have safety covers on the outlets because we have young kids).

This stick vacuum has truly impressed me with how well it fits into my daily routine. My home has only tile and hardwood floors, and the vacuum handled both effortlessly. It offers three strength settings, but I found that I only needed the first or second mode to get everything clean, which helped preserve battery life. I was able to vacuum my entire 1200-square-foot house on a single charge, and it’s surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is. While the vacuum head is a bit large and doesn’t quite fit into tighter corners like some others, it’s still agile and easy to maneuver. It’s lightweight, which makes longer cleaning sessions much more comfortable, and the dirt canister is a good size and very easy to empty and clean. One standout feature for me was the FurFinder tool. I hadn’t realized how much cat hair was embedded in our furniture—especially our grey couch—until I used it. My cat’s fur is fine and hard to see, but this tool picked up an incredible amount with ease. I used to skip cleaning my couches altogether, but now I’ve added it to my regular routine thanks to how quick and easy the FurFinder tool is to use. The headlights on the main vacuum head were another unexpectedly favorite feature. I didn’t think I’d care about them, but after doing a side-by-side test with another vacuum, I saw how much debris I had missed with the first vacuum that was illuminated with the FurFinder. Even in a well-lit room, the headlights easily showed hidden pet hair and dust. The only space I found it harder to see hidden debris was on grey colored tile in a very sunny space. Lastly, I really appreciate the self-standing design. It’s a simple thing, but not having to lean the vacuum against something or worry about it toppling over is a big win in a chaotic household. Plus, I haven’t had any issues with hair or debris tangling in the brush roll, which saves time and frustration. Overall, this vacuum has made it easier to stay on top of the messes in my busy household, and it has become my go to vacuum!

The name “FurFinder” is so appropriate: we have a dog with short hair and I had never realized how much she sheds all over the house, until I could see all the hair on my hardwood floors thanks to the super bright headlight of the FurFinder! Wow. We also have a full size canister vacuum that I use for deep cleaning, but now I don’t have to take it out, plug it in, bring it back to the laundry room every time I want to vacuum: I just grab my Bissell PowerClean FurFinder from the pantry and go! I LOVE IT! I now can quickly and painlessly vacuum multiple times per day: after my 2-year-old snacks, after I cook, under the dinner table, after our dog comes in the back door with leaves stuck to her paws, etc. Picking up dirt/dust on the ground or upholstery is not a painful chore anymore, it’s actually fun and quick! I love so many things about this stick vacuum: the fact that it’s cordless and light to move, the small footprint to store it, the ease of emptying the dust container (super fast and not messy), the fact that it’s not super loud, its power to pick up even the smallest crumb, the tangle-free head (my daughter and I have long hair, FYKYK) and the fact that it has a HEPA filter! Yay! We have allergies, so the HEPA filter is very important. It also stands on its own when you need to take a break, or when you store it. I use the PowerClean FurFinder on hardwood floors, on carpet, on rugs, on the dog bed, on our couches and chairs, on the bathroom tile… everywhere. The charge lasts enough for me to run it everywhere on our first floor and up the stairs (that’s 9 rooms plus hallway, entry and stair); in fact I have never run out of charge and could probably run it in a few rooms upstairs before recharging. What’s great is that you can also easily remove the long stick and use it as a hand vacuum to clean the stairs or upholstery. The extra attachment works well too. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this vacuum and would definitely recommend it. We have a variety of surfaces including several rugs and hardwood and soft-play mats, and the Bissell did a wonderful job cleaning messes off all of them. With a shedding dog, a baby, and a toddler at home, our floors and sofa are constantly full of fur and food. The main vacuum tool with the headlights works extremely well in illuminating hair and fine pieces of food off the rugs and floors. It definitely feels like I'm doing a better cleaning job when I know that all the food and long hair has indeed been cleaned up! The FurFinder tool is great at digging into and suctioning hair off softer surfaces like the sofa. I love how versatile the vacuum is as well, easily transforming from a stick vacuum to handheld device for upholstery, including an extended reach stick vacuum feature to get into the higher cabinets for cleaning. The dirt cup is easy to open and clear out, and I like that I can easily see when it is full and needs to be emptied. My only gripes are that the vacuum feels pretty heavy, especially for a one-handed operation, and the main cleaning tool is a little large which makes it difficult to get underneath some furniture that we have. One of my absolute favorite features is the self-standing design. It allows for easy storage and makes it quick to grab-and-go for spot cleans throughout the day, whether I'm chasing dog fur under the sofa or cleaning up after the kids' snack time. This ability to store it upright and charge it at the same time also adds to its convenience and practicality, ensuring it's always ready when I need it, making it a truly versatile cleaning companion for busy households like ours!

I received this vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it has rapidly become an indispensable part of the daily cleaning routine in our home. I have a two year old Lab Pointer mix, so I'm always on the lookout for solutions to shedding and stubborn dog hair. This vacuum is fantastic for anyone who is battling dog hair on upholstery and floorboards. It performs well as a standard stick vacuum on hard floors and rugs, and has an attachable “FurFinder” tool that is very, very effective at removing hairs from our couch and dog bed. It also has an attachable wand that is super handy for zooming along trim and hard to get corners. All of that is great, and would have been enough for me to strongly recommend this unit, but where it was really a standout for me was with its LED light. I was shocked to see how much I was missing with the broom or my previous stick vacuum. This LED light was a game changer for me. I was finding sneaky pet hair that I for sure would never have seen otherwise. The floors feel so sharp when I'm done making the rounds! The vacuum is free standing out of the box, but also comes with a wall mount, which I personally really like. It also has a detachable battery, and several different charging options. My only con is that I found the canister a little bit difficult to snap on and off. It's not bad, just a little bit less seamless than everything else. Overall, I'm very impressed with it and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to see what they are missing with their current vacuum.

We have house cleaners come to our house 2x per month, but with two young kids, a dog and two cats, there's plenty of light cleaning to do in between those visits. With this stick vac, it is so easy to quickly run the vacuum over the house and tidy up pet hair and bits of the outside that have gotten tracked in. I love how easily it picks up pet hair off our upholstery (pets in this house definitely to use the furniture, after all). We have hardwood floors with a mixture of high- and low-pile rugs, and the Bissell handles all the surfaces quite nicely. It charges quickly and runs quietly enough not to disrupt other family members nearby while it is in use. I do wish the charge would hold a bit longer, as we sometimes can't vacuum the entire main floor on one charge, but with such quick charging ability, this is not a major drawback for us. My husband is our primary vacuumer, and he just loves this new device - it has really increased the amount of vacuuming we do, which in turn keeps our floors and feet so much cleaner!

Long review: I opened the box and thought the vacuum looked and felt a little cheaper than other stick vacuums I’ve had before. That is really my only “complaint.” The headlight is my favorite feature! I have mostly wood and tile floors so I turn the lights off and the vacuum light shows me exactly where I’ve been and where I’ve missed. I love how easily it comes apart. You can step on the lever to detach the vacuum head to get in corners or behind things. I can have a baby on my hip and still get my vacuuming done! It’s light weight; my kids love being able to help vacuum! I like being able to see how much stuff I’m sucking up and when I need to dump the bin. The charge lasts for multiple rounds of cleaning. I’m not sure I’ve used my upright vacuum since getting this one. I can get from one end of the house to the other without having to stop to unplug and plug it back in multiple times! I also love the holder— I don’t have to dig through the closet anymore for attachments! The little fur finder attachment works wonders on the couch. I wish I had pictures! The head is also low enough it can get clear under my coffee table and my media center without having to move either one. I hope this stick vacuum lasts for a long time, because I’m a big fan!
