Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is a bold, aromatic fougère fragrance introduced in 1982. It opens with invigorating notes of lavender, lemon, and mint, transitioning into a spicy heart of juniper and cinnamon, and settles into a woody base of oakmoss, patchouli, and leather. This classic scent exudes vintage masculinity, reminiscent of barbershop freshness and 80s confidence. While some find it nostalgic and enduring, others feel it may be overpowering or dated. Ideal for those seeking a timeless, assertive fragrance.

Smells Like 1987 and Regret (in the BEST way)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ah, Drakkar Noir—the cologne that practically is my dad’s personality. One spritz and I’m instantly transported to a time of mullets, Trans Ams, and overly confident men wearing gold chains and too much leather. This stuff doesn’t whisper, it announces. Like: “Hey Brenda, I am the manager.” “Hey Chad, your stepdad’s cologne just out-alpha’d you.” It’s bold. It’s brooding. It smells like a guy who always carries a comb and probably owns a pair of snakeskin boots. And somehow? It still slaps. Wore it to test the vibes and I swear someone called me “stud” and offered me a menthol cigarette. A time-traveling scent bomb of musk, mystery, and male confidence. Not for the faint of heart. Or the lightly-scented. #DrakkarOrBust #MuskGoals #SmellLikeYouBenchPressFeelings

Strong lasting fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed it. It’s not my go-to, as I’ve just used this type of scent a lot when I was younger. It’s described as sharp, spicy, lavender, and amber. I’m not sure I get lavender at all, but I do think it’s definitely sharp spicy and Ambery. I can’t put my finger on it, but it reminds me a little bit of old spice or brute or polo or something from the 90s. (not a bad thing). The scent lasts really nicely though, so if the profile is your thing, I 100% recommend it.

Good smell and not over powering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was ok, other than it was raining and packaging got wet. The smell was pleasant and not over powering like some other brands. The spray was smooth and covered good area. I would buy Drakkar Noir for use in the near future.

Old school cologne that stood the test of time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first spray, I could tell this was a bold fragrance—not the kind you wear quietly. The opening hits hard with a sharp lavender and citrus combo that’s clean but intense. After a few minutes, it settles into something darker and more complex. I noticed hints of spice, a bit of pine, and eventually that smoky, earthy finish that makes this cologne feel grounded and masculine. What surprised me most was the longevity. I sprayed it in the morning, and it was still going strong into the evening. This stuff doesn’t just sit close to the skin—it projects. One or two sprays is plenty. I can see how Drakkar Noir might not be for everyone. It’s got a retro vibe that won’t appeal to fans of lighter, sweeter colognes. But if you like your fragrances bold, classic, and with a touch of nostalgia, it’s definitely worth a try. Rating: 4/5 A confident throwback scent that still holds its ground today.

Smellin good! Lookin good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drakkar Noir is an impressive fragrance that blends sophistication with a bold, modern edge. From the first spray, it opens with warm spices and a hint of citrus, gradually settling into deeper notes of amber, patchouli, and smoky woods. It’s dark and mysterious without being overpowering, making it versatile enough for both evening wear and cooler daytime use.

Classic but stuck in time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up Drakkar Noir partly out of curiosity, partly because I’d heard so many people talk about it like it was a rite of passage. And yeah, the first spray took me way back—even though I wasn’t there the first time around. It’s sharp, loud, and proud right out of the gate. Lavender, citrus, and something kind of barbershop-y that feels like it walked straight out of 1985 with its collar popped. There’s a confidence to it, and I respect that. It’s bold, masculine, and definitely has a presence. But the thing is… after a few hours, I found myself wanting something softer, something a little more “now.” The pine and patchouli linger in a way that almost wears me, not the other way around. I don’t hate it. In fact, there’s a part of me that likes having it on the shelf for certain moods—maybe when I want to feel a bit more classic or defiant. But it’s not something I reach for often. I’m glad I gave it a shot, but for me, it’s more of a historical experience than a go-to scent.

Masculine scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually have a bottle of this. To me, this is great. Spicy lavender with aromatics and woody notes. Great barbershop fragrance. These days, the longevity is about 5 hours with one hour of projection. After that, it gets close to the skin. But it smells great and very classy. I love and I recommend it

Drakkar Noir is a bold, long-lasting classic with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is a strong, classic men’s fragrance with a fresh, spicy, and woody scent. It opens sharp with lavender and citrus, then settles into a warm, masculine dry-down. The scent strength is bold—just a few sprays go a long way. It has strong projection at first, with moderate to heavy sillage, and it lasts around 6–8 hours. It’s versatile, best suited for cooler weather, evenings, or casual nights out, but can work year-round if used lightly. The packaging is simple and sleek—a matte black bottle that looks timeless and clean.

Good for its musk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dakkae Noir is a cologne that has a very strong musk. You would probably use this for the winter rather than the summer as the scent would probably be too strong with the heat activating the the scent further.
