This one has a really nice scent. The sort of floral notes tie wonderfully with the spicy ones. It has an expertly crafted scent that definitely has a more traditionally masculine smell as expected. The one flaw for me is the scent dissipates rather quickly. I found myself needing to spray myself with the cologne multiple times per day. Even when I did multiple per “application”, the scent disappears quicker than most.

It’s described as sharp, spicy, lavender, and amber. I’m not sure I get lavender at all, but I do think it’s definitely sharp spicy and Ambery. I can’t put my finger on it, but it reminds me a little bit of old spice or brute or polo or something from the 90s. (not a bad thing). The scent lasts really nicely though, so if the profile is your thing, I 100% recommend it.

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is a decent fragrance, but it personally reminded me of my grandfather’s old cologne. Because of that, I feel it might be better suited for an older audience, although that could just be my personal association. The scent is clean and classic, but in my opinion, a bit simple compared to more modern fragrances. It has good longevity and a strong presence, so if you’re looking for something traditional and timeless, it could be a good choice. Overall, it’s not a bad fragrance, just not exactly my style
