I have a small shop attached to my retirement home and space is very valuable to me. I bought 2 of these units last year (2009) and used them as both half size and rooling as well as fixed units. I am going up today to buy another. they are GREAT for sizing the distance between each shelf and for putting on top of a work bench. better then any shelf i have ever bought! and as good as any I have ever custom built !!!

Purchased two units. The post top and bottom pieces don’t thread together straight. If tightened all the way together the poles end up crooked. You would have to leave them slightly separated/loose in order to have a straight pole. Thought it was just one set but opened the box for the second unit and it was the same way.

I bought this shelf unit at my local club today after some research. It is not yet assembled, but I have unpacked and inspected every part and it is very well made. First, I looked at the pdf file and saw that it is made by Seville. Their products are not USA made but the design and engineering are first class, in my opinion. (I have both versions of their 72 inch rolling work benches and three of their 24 x 28 cabinets - all bought at Sam's) To answer some of the questions posted in the questions and answer section, the box, as picked up at the club, is marked 89.7 pounds and measures 48 inches x 18¾ inches x 9¾ inches. I'm also a member at the competing club in my city and they offer similar unit with similar specs. I looked at the competitor's offering first and their shelves had the zig-zag wire trusses on both sides of the shelves and three rods welded to the cross rods of the shelves to prevent separation. I went to Sam's and their unit's shelves had the same edge trusses plus a third truss in the center with rods welded to the cross wires between the center truss and the edges on each side. The purchase was an easy decision.

I have used these shelves for almost 15 years and just recently bought over 20 shelves for our new business location. I had old ones that I have used for almost 15 years that went through floods, lots of dogs urinating on them, water bowls falling on them, countless chewing and moved around. These are worth every single penny for organization and so many uses!

I bought this shelving unit to organize a 5x5 storage locker. Assembly took about 20-25 minutes. The only tool you need is a rubber mallet to get the shelves nice and tight. Read the fine print: the max weight capacity does not apply if you use the wheels. I opted for the leveling feet and the unit feels strong.

I was web surfing last week never really noticed these in the store. Well I got one on 6/23/18 decided to take it home and give assembly a try was tricky at first watched a youtube video and worked. Little heavy for me took both my daughter and I to put together well worth it gives you so much more space and organization. Loved it so much went back and got another one same day and put it together need two more to make my organization complete. The big wow for me is is that it is Six feet and can hold up to 3600 lbs. Definitely recommed

My husband & I purchased 10 shelving units as we needed to get organized especially since our house was undergoing repairs for two months now from ice dams on the roof! Since the we & the contractors have crammed 1200 sq ft of furniture, closet items, wall décor, etc. into four rooms and the unfinished basement we had to get organized. The shelving units are PERFECT helping us organize our basement and all of the items that have been brought downstairs. What we did was to take the two shelving units and put them together to make it look like three shelving units. After putting one shelf onto the poles w/wheels), so the same for the other shelving unit. THEN you take a self and put it on the two right end poles from the first shelving unit and the two left poles from the second unit CONNECTING the two shelving units together. It'll look like you have a three shelving unit system together. Just make sure that you have the locking wheels in the front of the four poles. The three connected shelving unit moves with ease on the wheels and my husband said that it was a brilliant ides of mine!

Purchased for shelving in my garage. I was impressed with the purchase from the moment I opened the box and saw how the shelving was packaged. Well packaged and the product was protected from damage. Easy to assemble after I calculated the spacing of the shelves to meet my needs. I did follow what other reviewers suggestions and just assembled the lower portion of the shelving first. Great value. My son who is in the restaurant business offered to buy shelving for me through a restaurant supply company, but they were three times the price.

1'st I've been buying these for years. They are strong and well priced. They are a bit fiddly to put together but I think anyone can do it. It takes me about 20 minutes to put one together. My problem is that I ordered 6 by mail. I thought at first that the delivery person just destroyed the boxes but now as I've put together 4 of them I find that most of them are used which is why the boxes are so beat up. I wouldn't be so ticked about this, people return things, but I'm missing parts, if you want to resell a product that's been returned as new then make sure everything is in the box. Now I get the joy of contacting the company and asking for parts instead of using my new shelves. These will rust if in a moist environment, I had it in a shed and those got grimy. Otherwise I like them enough that I keep buying them. The selves I'd rate as 4 stars but getting them used with missing parts put the review at 2 stars.

I bought 3 of these about 6 years ago and had a need for another so just purchased one more. Very easy to put together. These are in my garage and have never had any issues with them. Great storage solution and I love the wheels for ease of moving if needed.
