Fantastic Shelving for ALL Applications
These shelves are the absolute best! I've used them all around the house. I got rid of those rickety ol' plastic shelves that bow from weight in my garage and replaced with these. The casters are heavy duty and allow me to easily move the shelving unit out when something falls behind them or to clean underneath [shhhh....don't tell the wife cause she believes I don't know how to clean]. They come with pretty thick plastic liners to put on each shelf making it real easy to clean up any spills as well as prevent material from falling through onto everything underneath. The shelves are easily adjustable to accomadate any height product I choose to put on them. They are also great for putting books on since they never bow like most wooden bookcases. I got one for my daughter's closet to put all of her sweaters, shirts, sweatshirts, towels, and bed sheets on and she loves the way they organize everything. I found the assembly easy and I do mean easy! No tools required. Once you learn the nack of looking for the double notches on each pole, it's easy to line up the shelf height prior to sliding the shelf over the poles. I can put a whole unit together in under 15 minutes while drinking a cup of coffee in the other hand! Well, maybe not at the same time. I've even made sides out of white masonite and 3/4" x 3" white pine to make an enclosed unit. A couple units I put pegboard ends on to hang my gardening tools from. I offered to do a setup for the wife's cooking utensils but she thought I was being rediculous. I just wanted her to use the cooking utensils instead of using her favorite recipe book...the Yellow Pages! And that's how the fight started.... You just can't go wrong for the price given the quality and versatility of this unit. None of the units in the garage have corroded. They all stand up to any abuse I've given them.
i own at least 8
I love these shelves. I would say very simple to install...but not something I would want to rearrange the shelves often as they are heavy and easier to adjust with 2 people and a rubber mallet. I own at least 8 of them for my small business and have a few in my garage at home. I've yet to have one break and we put some heavy stuff on it with constant use. built to last!
great purchase
Some interesting points about this item: 1. Easy to install. Best if you have a rubber mallot to tap shelves into place. 2. This unit assembles as a single 6 shelf unit on wheels or on adjustable feet. 3. This unit can be assembled as two 3 shelf units - one on casters/wheels the other on adjustable feet. 4. the unit on casters has a total limit of 500 lbs or 3600 lbs if not using the wheels. I am not sure if this is a missprint or not. But what is interesting is that you can morph this unit into what suits you best. For me I have a single 4 shelf unit on casters. No tools required, but a rubber mallot is helpful. A regular hammer might chip the finish.

Fantastic, Do Not Hesitate!
Absolutely fantastic! Very strong, looks great too. Can be used in a kitchen, a storage room, or a garage. The reasonable price may be the best part! God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. Anyone who believes in Him will not die but will have eternal life. John 3:16 NIRV “Believe in the Lord Jesus [as your personal Savior and entrust yourself to Him] and you will be saved, you and your household [if they also believe].” Acts 16 :31 AMP And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 AMP Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified Bible)
Great item!
Bought one of these to make two carts to use in my office. Bought one extra set of casters, put three shelves on each cart, now I have two carts with 3 shelves each, and it's great. Definitely a well-made and heavy-duty item that will last for a lifetime. Relatively easy to put together even for an old lady like me.
Great heavy-duty shelving unit for the price. I'm a 67 year old female and had no trouble assembling by myself, although another person would've made it even easier. Picked up today a little before 3, ran some other errands, had dinner and then started reading directions and assembling around 5:30. Finished at 6:15. Only negative I encountered was one shelf had a small shard of metal not smoothed off during manufacture and/or quality control and I sliced my finger during unpacking. Had to get a pair of plyers to break it off then, sand smooth, so be careful.
Trash! BEWARE!!
If I could give negative stars, I would!!! Got 5 “new” units delivered but they look well used! The coating of chrome is off in spots and is rusting in those spots. The shelves all have stuff on them that looks gross. Looks like caked on grease that you would find in a restaurant kitchen. Don’t buy unless you want trash!!!
Great shelves
These came highly recommended by a friend, and I really like them, too. I found them difficult to put together--it's awkward to get started, the instructions are not clear, and I think the first one I put together is not as solid as it could be. But the second one was much easier and faster, and it is very solid. (Hints: It's easier to put the casters/wheels on AFTER it's assembled, contrary to the written instructions. Otherwise it just rolls around while you put it together. And make sure the locking plastic clips are really together and snug in place before adding the shelves. You WILL want to use a rubber mallet....) I really like that I can roll it around easily, which means I can line them out and pull one out as I need to access it. For the money, these are handsome, solid units, and I recommend them.
Recent change in quality
I have bought these for years and have always been happy. In Jan 2023 I bought 8 and a friend of mine bought 10, and there were so many problems. Several of legs were not cut square, when screwing them together would cause the leg to not be straight. Several of the threaded leg connectors were cross threaded into the legs, which caused the top pole to be way out of line. There was rust in many of the holes the legs fit in. The wire from the shelf protruded into a lot of the leg slots, causing the plastic locks to not fit into the hole, and causing uneven shelf heights at each leg. Some of the leg mounts were not properly aligned when welded to the shelf, causing the legs to bow out, making assembly harder. So that I did not have to take them all back, I used a die grinder and smoothed out the holes that the legs go into. I took all the bad parts and returned 1 box instead of 5 out of 8. That is some really poor quality control, never had problems in the past years.
Well worth the money
I bought one of these several years ago. Then I decided one was not nearly enough. I think I have purchased at least seven of these over the years and truth be told I would love to order at least two more. The quality is excellent. I would not want to try it but I bet you could exceed the 600 pound limit on these. I like the fact that I can roll them around easily. I have some of these in my garage and if I need to make space for a project I just roll these out of the way. the wheels are lockable which is another thing I like about these. Sam's has an excellent price on these. I've seen shelves similar to these elsewhere but lower in quality and much higher in price. Honestly I do not see how sam's can sell these at the price they do.
