The uprights come in two sections, and Step 1 is to screw the top piece to the bottom piece. My recommendation is that you save this step until the first two shelves have been installed - it makes it much easier to slide them on. If you use the wheels, wait to install them, as well - get the bottom half assembled, then add wheels and the top uprights. Just be sure you're working with the bottom uprights - they're the ones with the screw holes for the wheels or legs.

We purchased 2 of these storage shelves for our food pantry. They can hold up 400 to 500 lbs per shelve, which is perfect for: cases of water, large can goods and the like. They have larger storage shelves then these but were out of stock. We are also pleased with the easy set up instructions. Overall, we are very satisfied with our selection of this product and the great value of it.

Seven total, in both LR & Bedroom. Purchased from Sam's. Been using for over 2 decades,every shelf looks brand new. Note: assembly w/o wheels option only needs 1 person; assembly w/wheels option needs 2 people. Assembly is quick & easy, no tools required. A tape-measure might prove useful, but not a necessity. Dis-assembly probably requires a hammer.

We bought three of these 10 years ago when we moved in to our new office space. They were and still are excellent, load them up with several cases of paper and other heavy office supplies. Purchased the same product this week for our daycare so they can wheel them in and out of the classroom each day. Love the plastic sheets that go on the shelving to prevent fall through. Also very easy to assemble.

These are heavy duty metal roll around shelves with wheel locks. Bought 3 of these and each box had all the necessary parts to make assembly a breeze. They are food service grade metal so they won't rust. Also they come with the necessary parts so they can be fixed in place and with safety straps so they can be secured to prevent tipping . I am using them for my pantry, and tool storage in my lower level.

I like this shelving unit, It's strong, easy to assemble and with the casters i'm able to save space by rolling it in front of another shelving unit and moving it when i need access. The only fault was in packaging. The box was blown apart in shipping because the cardboard is like paper. The driver handed me the pieces that fell out. I was worried if they would all be there and if it was going to be bent or damaged.

These shelves were perfect for our garage. They are very sturdy, you can use all the shelves or just a few, you can even make two shorter units instead of one tall one. There are durable wheels (4) so the shelving unit can be moved and locked in place. We aren't good with building shelves so these were right our alley and versatile.

I have purchased several of these over the past few years because it’s not only a great value but it’s a great product. It’s extremely sturdy, easy to set up, and comes with wheels and shelf liners. It’s a very versatile product—use it in closets, garages, offices, even attics (I have three in mine!!).

Fantastic value. Commercial quality, only worry the wheels may not hold up over time but not really a big issue if only moving occasionally. Shipping was a nightmare, took longer than expected and the box was barely holding together, but the product took the beating which speaks to the quality of the steel. Awkward to assemble alone so if it's you're first time handling one of these types of units be prepared to practice some deep breathing.

This six-shelf unit was described as heavy duty. That description is very accurate. The box containing the product was very heavy, which was the first clue. The assembly was very easy, but if you want it to be even easier, have a second person help you line up and slide the shelves over the vertical posts. This is a great product and well worth the price!
