I have an older version of this rack that's held up great so I bought another. Rust, probably due to poor plating on all the shelves in the same general area. Very disappointed. By the time I started assembly and noticed I decided I was too far along to try to repack everything and return it plus I would have had to get a second person to get it back in the truck.

Prefer prior model with shiny chrome finish and no odor. Current model is a dull looking metal. Odor that lasts for days on shelving pieces and poles. We have yet to have the odor dissipate completely. Poles have what can only describe as old medicine odor on inside. Smelling that made our odor sensitive allergy member ill. Days waiting for it to go away. Sunlight, hot building, soap and water - inside and flushed inside of tubes ... goes down but won't go away. These aren't the racks I bought in the past, of which I have many. The shelves are heavy, the finish is dull, and they give off an odor that has yet to go away. Bought a shelf rack from another website. No odor out the box. Shiny chrome look like prior models of Member's Mark shelving. Replacement rack cost more, had one less shelf, and wider spaced wires on each shelf. Wires look a little thinner too. No odor and can use it right out the box. Done with Member's Mark shelving at this time. If you don't mind the odor, by all means, enjoy. For us, it's an allergy issue.

The shelving system is exactly what I thought I was ordering (no surprises!) I picked it up at the store and the packaging was good. the only minor downsize was the assembly instructions and the difficulty for one person to assemble alone (if you are 83 yrs old,) Young folks should have no problem.

We got the rack to the assembly place. The black pieces necessary to assemble were received busted and broken. Photographed the box upon receipt with some box damage. The steel shelving material is nice, bummer can not use! Looking into getting assembly parts shipped!

I bought two sets of these shelves from Sam's Club and I am very happy with them. I have purchased similar NSF rated shelf units from other suppliers several times in the past. Assembly method, quality and load capacity seem to be pretty much the same. The main benefit with the Member's Mark unit is that it comes with plastic shelf liners which make sliding boxes side-to-side on the shelves much easier. These liners would likely cost $25 to $50 if purchased separately, so having them including is a major plus which makes this purchase an excellent value!

This is the third or fourth rolling rack shelf we have purchased for business and home. Each time we put it together was a bit of a struggle but overall they are super sturdy and work great. The wheels are great where lock in place as well and are very sturdy. Overall it is a great purchase.

The shelving unit appears to be very high quality. I loo forward to using it. However, shipping (via Fedex--say it all) resulted in the bottom shelf being bent. Customer service was responsive! (big positive shout out to Jeremy), but the vendor shipped out the wrong color replacement shelf--chrome instead of graphite. So I ordered this on 9/5. It is now 9/26 and I still do not have a unit that I can use. The month+ turn around to resolve the issue is frankly unacceptable.

Ok. I'm a pack rat and I'm cheap. I prefer to be called thrifty but when we moved into out new house with a huge basement, I needed some way to store all of my stuff. These storage units were perfect. They're incredibly sturdy and if they can't hold it then I probably couldn't lift it onto the shelf. Assembly is easy but takes some time- I bought 14 of these units. They roll easily and look great. Look no further for your storage solution.

These are good shelves but almost every one arrived damaged. There is no protective packaging. The shelves are simply in a cardboard box and bang around during the trip which strips the finish and some were even bent. If you don't expect perfection these are good shelves. I've purshased about 10 of these. Maybe 1 or 2 arrived in good condition.

Quality control appears to be an issue. One of three boxes I ordered came damaged and incomplete. That box consisted of eight sections to complete the four poles. However, there were five lower sections and three upper sections included for the poles. I was able to assemble four poles, but one pole does not look like the other three poles. When the four poles were completely assembled, the fourth pole did not have a cap and I was unable to put a cap on the fourth pole. Also in that same box, the brakes on one of the wheels does not lock, just spins, regardless of how you press it. The other two boxes were complete and we were able to assemble per instructions. I am happy with two of the three shelving units I purchased. Overall, the product works and looks good. I did not return the defective unit because it was too much trouble to disassemble and repackage. I would recommend this to a friend with a caveat; check all boxes for included parts before assembling and discovering a need to return.
