well designed interior shelving and bins. Every small detail has been thought out. Drawers and doors are quiet and smoothly close with minimal effort. Cooling is consistent, the items at back do not freeze, air circulation inside is uniform. Nice to have round cubes, a feature we missed when comparing models. Clear craft ice is nice to have, it is nice to be turn that feature off as the tray takes extra freezer space. The rear indoor back lighting is designed to lighten inside without being overtly bright. We did find the refrigerator side from outside warm, I am assuming the compressor position is no longer in the rear bottom. The refrigerator is quiet and a joy to have. We are keeping our fingers crossed as we have heard the new linear compressors have shorter life.

Love the space and the third drawer. I've used the craft ice more than I thought I would. The finish is much nicer than our prior appliance and easy to keep clean. The lighting is amazing inside the fridge, space is impressive as well. We've only had it for a month so I'm hoping the appliance will continue to operate as nicely as it does right now.

It has multiple shelves that are adjustable for height. The middle drawer can be a freezer or fridge which is so fantastic! This refrigerator replaced a 16 year old LG refrigerator. The old ice maker broke, so we needed a new one! I love the new one, really like the drawer between the freezer and the fridge, so handy, open it and I can see every thing inside, so efficient! Really like the craft ice components, makes cute ice and the big ones are almost clear. Very pleased with my purchase.

The upper fridge is plenty of space and amazing lighting with the attention to detail for the way it Don's when the door is opened the marble Lake small ice is perfect for chilling, coffee or soda while the large craft ice mixed with the small ice is perfect for water to chill fast and keep it cold longer. One of my favorite features is the flex zone drawer for the times when the freezer isn't quite big enough I can adjust and flex into the drawer with pizza and to go microwave dinners. The stainless steel is great and shows well in the kitchen to handle placement. Definitely takes getting used to, but keeps the front of the fridge, sharp and fingerprint free. It was a breeze to install with easy water connection and a quick plug-in. Overall, the energy usage appears to be lower well. The fridge also is much quieter..

All opinions expressed in this post are personal and should not be attributed to LG. Overall, I'm very happy with this refrigerator and would recommend it. It has a sleek, modern design, and the Full-Convert Drawer in the middle has been especially useful for our family. We keep the kids' snacks and drinks there, so they can easily reach water and grab a snack on their own. I also love having several ice options, which are convenient for different drinks. There are a couple of things I wish were better. A standard 500 mL water bottle doesn't fit upright on any of the three shelf levels in the main refrigerator compartment, which makes storing bottled water less convenient. I also wish the ice maker produced ice faster and in greater quantities. The ice quality has been somewhat disappointing as well. Despite those drawbacks, we really enjoy the design and family-friendly convenience. It's a great refrigerator overall, and I would recommend it.

There are some features that were a selling point that have less than desirable features. Original startup of the refrigerator was slower than expected with the ice making features. The ice making is incredibly slow and the lower ice bin displays full at one layer of the craft ice. The shelving slots at the back of the appliance limit shelf arrangements more than older machines.

Excellent design and cooling distribution. If you ONLY want an excellent refrigerator WITHOUT ice production, then I would recommend this A+ refrigerator! If you want an excellent refrigerator WITH great ice production, DO NOT get this refrigerator. We are retired and we get by most of the time, not during hot months.
