[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I totally like this all purpose Miracle potting soil because it offers nutrients for all flowers, vegetables and tress all in one!! It feeds up to 3-months I’ve been using Miracle grow for so many years and I my plants love the formulation with compost, processed forest products, peat moss, fertilizer and a wetting agent that releases in the soil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is some truly great soil. Love the packaging came in a big, huge bag. Perfect from what I needed to do I wanted to fill some holes in my yard that my dog has dug out. This was perfect to blend it.

I bought 12 bags of your 2 cu.ft. bags for my impatients that I have planted for the past 6 years. I plant 32 plants in my 20' planter and never had any problems. I used your product this year and my all my plants leaves turned yellow and fell off. I took them out and planted 32 more the same thing happened. Hundreds of mushrooms came up and that is the only explanation I can come up with as to why they all did that. I will never buy your garden soil again.

Plan on tilling or mixing this with your existing soil, because it contains too much wood chip and other materials for growing in. See the number of 5* vs 1* reviews? There's truth in the numbers... This product is good for improving poor soil but not good for bulking up good soil. It says Garden Soil on the bag. It is a Soil Amendment. This product should be advertised as a Soil Amendment. PRO: it will introduce a vital mix of good material to poor soil or clay. CON: It will introduce too much wood and foreign material to a good soil. 2 Cents: Because this needs to be mixed in: if you have good soil, you could make your own clean soil amendment, using manure, compost, leaf-gro, peat, etc. for the same or less, which will avoid unwanted materials in good soil. If just starting with clay, poor soil, this will be OK. Good luck. I hope Miracle Grow take the 50% 1-star complaints seriously and change the ingredients, sifting, sizing and quality of the bag contents. They'd sell more of it if it is what is says on the bag...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the product, it was rich & full of moisture, maybe a little to heavy to move around but it seemed to be a rich soil for everything. I had annuals all around my tree in my front yard that needed to have soil added to them & this really worked well. It was easy to mix into the exsisting soil & much need moisture to help them thrive in the Florida sun. Cant wait to see my results & how long it last before I need to add more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grow a few vegetables in a small garden. I always use Miracle-Gro products to help them grow. I like that there is added nutrition to feed back into the soil since the plants deplete it. I use the All Purpose Garden Soil to mix in with the soil that is already there. I like that they recycle and reuse materials so it is more sustainable. This does mean that there is some mulch and other debris mixed in, but it is still mostly dirt and not really an issue. I recommend using gloves and a shovel or other container to scoop it out and spread it around. Before planting I will dump the whole bag where I need it and mix it in, but if I already have plants in the ground that need more dirt added, then I scoop and place exactly where it is needed most. When it is time to pick my vegetables, there is always plenty to go around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Miracle-Gro Garden Soil All Purpose is amazing. Very easy to work with. I have used bags of this soil both in ground for veggies and also in my big grow box as well as containers for cantaloupes and cucumbers. It is a good loamy soil and I always get healthy plants. I do amend it by adding some compost, whether my own or the cow compost, fertilizer and maybe fish emulsion. So I don't think one can use it to grow plants without some amending. I like the consistency, few sticks and mulch bits mixed in you find in other soils, especially the top soils. I use it mostly these days for container gardening of veggies and fruits. I would recommend this soil.
