My husband and I were doing some renovations/diys around the house and we needed a stud finder for a few of the projects and we lucked in to getting this one and it worked perfectly. The magnets are very strong and the stud finder itself is very heavy duty.

This was not accurate. I had to have someone else come fix the tv mount. When they used their stud finder which actually located the edges on the screen and the middle of the stud, my stud finder was off and placed the center on the edge of the stud, which is why my screw wouldn’t stay. I saw just buy a stud finder which identifies the middle on the screen.

For this reason, I stated decorating and hanging a few things on my wall. I’m not the best hanging things on the wall or making sure things are straight, so I decided to use this stud finder. Overall, this stud finder works very good! The grip is great and I really like that it hangs on the wall because it is magnetic, which is a fantastic visual help. I also like that this doesn’t need any batteries or changing. This would come handy for someone who needs to hang shelves, cabinets, paintings, TV’s, lamps, etc. It is important to note that this is to be used on a drywall, so if you have plaster walls it might not work as well. If you are multifunctional, I noticed that this doesn’t only work as a great stud finder, but also making sure that other projects or decor in the house are straight. For example, I recently tried to build my own DIY table, and this worked great and showing which pieces were straight and which needed extra work. Overall, this is a great multifunctional tool.

This has been a life saver for my walls.

Just drag it along the wall and the magnet to slow your movement when it comes to a nail. The photo shows it clinging to the wall on a nail. Of course, the nails are on the studs. Super easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This definitely comes in handy, It works on most my walls, some of of my walls the magnet can't pick up any screws, or any kind of metal, but that maybe because some of my walls are thin floating walls that most likely don't have many screws in the studs. I think it's a great tool to have, I don't know how many times I've had trouble finding a stud this helps a lot.

Simply move the StudBuddy along the wall as instructed and let it do the rest. You'll know when you find the stud as there is a definite pull and stop from the magnets finding the nails. The levelers are great for making sure you get straight lines when hanging any hardware, televisions, cabinets, pictures, and a whole lot more. There are standard American and metric measuring rulers located along the two long sides of the StudBuddy. This is a great and handy gadget to have around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used this item once, but it did the job. The magnet finds the nails or screws that were used to fasten the drywall to the studs. There are two levels on it as well to help finding the rest of the stud or even to hang a few pictures even with each other. Works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a stud finder and it was OK but nothing special a little hard to use and definitely had a learning curve to it. But then I’ve never used a stud finder before so the learning curve might be my own personal fault. It is a little plasticky but like it doesn’t really matter you don’t need a sturdy stud finder and they’re not used all that often anyhow.
