The trigger is a little difficult to press at first but I think it's because it was cycling the liquid in the wand. I didn't notice any scents or anything when spraying. Dehydrated weeds to kill the roots. The real test for me will be if it takes care of those pesky stinging nettles! This weed killer is safe for animals, humans and even bees! This is a big plus because one we need bees and two it's hard to keep my dog away from certain areas in the yard.

I have 8 animals, so the worry is always “will this harm them”. I love that I don’t have to worry about that with Spruce. It’s super lightweight and portable which is great. As you can see in the before & after (taken 2 days apart) it did a great job eliminating the area and still looks great today. Couldn’t recommend enough!
