Easy purchase and installation.

Download, install, and activation worked flawlessly for me. Has been the way I purchase this product for many years and never had any issues. Also the Sam’s Club discount is a must for me.

Stay away.

I paid for the desktop version. When I finished and was ready to file, the program told me it had to charge me $40 to file my Federal taxes. It also wants ti charge me $40 to file my state form. I spoke with Turbotax, and they were baffled and sent me a link to download it again. Same issue. I spoke with Sam's club, and as expected, there is nothing they can do. I've been using TurboTax for years, but never again.

    Best price I could find

Purchased Deluxe with state during Black Friday/Cyber Monday for a discount, best price I could find anywhere. Received my email overnight and installed without issues. Worked as it did last year which I also purchased through Sams.

    iS TURBOTAX USING AI?

I have used TurboTax for many many years. It just keeps getting better. This year something happened that just blew my mind. I had started TurboTax and left to go eat dinner. When I came back the next day TurboTax had gone to all of my `sources of income from last year and had almost completed my return. I was blown away!

    Flawless Process

The purchase of this product was an easy, flawless process. Ordered TurboTax while it was on sale, and about an hour later received an email with the download link and activation code.Downloaded the software and activated it without issues, and was ready to start the taxes. Have used TurboTax for years, and it is always an easy, accurate way to file both Federal and State taxes every year.

    Locating missing Taxes

My problem is I filed Federal and State taxes in February 0f 2025, received refund checks for both. Error in Ohio tax caused a payment to correct minor error. Attempted to locate both taxes from TurboTax to file an Amended return. TurboTax does not have my taxes I filed in February of 2025. Contacted "Amy" at Turbotax who listened to the problem and assisted in trying to find the taxes on my computer and Turbotax records. Neither was successful after looking several hours for two days, Amy advised me to seek additional service from the IRS offices located in my area. Thank you Turbotax and "Amy"

Desktop version is Awesome... OnLine is CRAP

The OnLine version is very disappointing... ergo why I prefer the Desktop version. Why you haven't cloned the Desktop look, feel & features into the OnLine versions mystifies me. I tried it several years ago and it was CRAP. Therefore, I get the optimum accuracy and features with the Desktop version.

Overall, Turbotax is a very good program.

I have used Turbotax for years. This year the Charity donations section did not have a bar to reorder donations in alpha order to make it simple enter current year donation amounts, rather than having to hunt item by item for the appropriate charity

    Overall terrific (2 caveats)

I really like TT overall. Love the year to year data transfer as well as the quesitons that guide one thru the process. Two pieces of feedback: 1. Please allow us to copy and paste from various pages...this makes it easier to research topics/issues. 2. The section pertaining to paying for State e-filing is a bit misleading (IMO). TT offers to deduct the State e-filing fee from my Fed. refund for $40. But that's it. It does NOT say anything like: Paying with credit card is only $25. This is borderline deceptive in that it leads one to believe that the $40 MAY be the only way forward. The credit card option should have some sort of notice indicating that it's $25. This left a bad taste in mouth re: Intuit/TT.

    Turbo Tax Can be better

I like the software, but I had a problem with filing electronically for the last few years. This if the first year in a while that I was able to do so. I may have been the problem, but I believe it was some problem with the software. Overall, the software makes it easy to file my tax return with a simple procedure. I will continue to use it.

2 discrepancies in TT that continue to irritate

I use TurboTax because I've done it for many years, so all the numbers carry over, and I'm accustomed to how to use it. However, I have two major gripes with TT, which I have to deal with every year:' 1. We have a rental house, for which we figure and declare depreciation, including numerous improvements which are depreciated as separate assets. EVERY YEAR, Turbotax decides to change some of our depreciation elections (which must stay the same for every depreciable item year to year), so we have to go back into the actual forms and change them back to the original elections. 2. Every year, TurboTax asks us why we're not filing a state tax return for Florida. Intuit should know that Florida does not levy state income tax. Please fix this.....

    TURBO TAX 2025 A BUMMER

I USUALLY RATE YOU A 5 STAR, BUT THIS YEAR I HAD TROUBLE WITH COMPLETING AND FILING. THE REFUND STATED ON THE TAX RETURN IS NOT THE REFUND SHOW ON THE SUMMARY BEFORE FILING. I HAD A FAIED FILIN DUE TO TURBO TAX NOT USING THE MOST UPDATED FORMS EVEN AFTER AN UPDATE CHECK WAS COMPLETED.

Virginia tax returns not calculated correctly

I received a Notice of Assessment on both Virginia state tax returns that did not have refunds. The stated reason for the Assessment was a Penalty and Interest Charge related to VA Form 760C, of which Turbo Tax software did not generate for those returns.

    Good and could be great

Turbo Tax gets the job done, but it'e not the shortest path to the solution. The user interface is dates (think 1980s) and the entry is inefficient. While there are some improvements, they feel like bolt-ons to a product that was released years ago -- it's very linear in the approach and is missing simple what-if like analysis. IMO, it's time to start with a new and more modern code base (if the developers that have any background in this are still in the game). AI is not the solution per se, but it is part of the answer, especially when it comes to finding things in the program and solving problems.

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2025 Not Good

My experience this year was the worst with the version used which is the same as previous years. The help in handling rental property took a step backward. The available explanation comments were better in previous version; particularly on the depreciation of new assets. There was a tax penalty indicated for tax accumulation in retirement accounts, but no way to trace the source of the entry. Spent hours hunting for it and never found why. Also similar comments apply to the WA state return

Unable to download, poor customer service

We did not receive the digital email of the product or information on how to download. We called Sam's club and spoke to an offshore representative. Unable to understand him, he was unable to understand us. Put on hold for 20 minutes after which he hung up on us. Called back, went through the AI system, got transferred and immediately hung up on. Called again, again offshore service desk, unable to help. Given a new phone number of Turbo tax help desk. After 2 hours of poor service we finally have the digital download info. Will never buy this product from Sams Club again!

This product did not deliver as advertised.

In past years, I have not had any issues using TurboTax. This year, we did not get the $10 promotional credit, and the IRS is mailing our refund. We paid extra for early delivery, and our E-File specified direct deposit. Our state return was delivered to our account without a problem. You cannot get any response from a human at Intuit, and their AI Bot is useless. It appears that their software is not really working all that well this year. I overpaid for what I received and regret purchasing TurboTax. After 15 years of filing with this program, I will look for a different option next year. If you are thinking about TurboTax for 2025, you might want to look for something else.

very disappointed this year I have bought TurboTax Deluxe for several years digital format. so I bought it again this year downloaded it started loading the tax information into it was getting crazy numbers like I would be owing $15,000 plus dollars for taxes so I called customer service they said there was no problem but I should start over which I did and still got the same kind of crazy numbers even though I know I inputed things correctly. I used a different software and numbers came out exactly as I expected and I am getting refund not owing $15,000 plus dollars disappointing that the digital format is non-refundable I truly feel that there is a glitch in this year's software

    Changes needed for desktop users

I detest the fact that if I'm using Turbo Desktop and I just want to import a w-2 or another document from an investment institution that I have to log into the Intuit Account. What if I don't want to share that info with Intuit. I do manual entry on everything to avoid giving Intuit access to personal accounts.

so disappointed in 2025 turbo tax

Have used turbo tax 22 years using the CD to upload to my computer but hate this online version. it did load on my windows 10 (64 bit) but it doesn't look anything like turbo tax of the past. it also made a mistake on my state return and I cant find the state return online to file an amended return. Will not buy turbo tax next year or ever again!!
