I recently purchased with the hope of keeping plants alive in the extreme Nevada summers. No directions were included about how to make the planter self watering. The manufacturer's phone number was on the bottom of planter. Their customer service rep emailed me link to Youtube video on how to use as self watering planter. So far, so good but we have not gotten to the 100+ degree days yet to come. Fingers crossed my flowers will survive.

I love the planter but am not sure how to make it self watering as there are no directions with it. Can someone please share?

Love this pot. It is light weight and my plant looks awesome in it. It also has a tray like piece inside that helps with not giving my plant too much water.

I like the size of the planter & it isn't too heavy to move. I drilled a hole in the bottom to let the water out as I didn't buy it for that feature & don't want my flowers to float after a heavy rain. 👍🏻👍🏻

I've purchased three of these planters so far and will probably buy more because I'm very happy with them. Loving these planters. Ferns are thriving. Water reservoir saves lots of time and great feature if you are away for a time.

Item is sturdy. Very durable, however with the exception of the incline in the middle it is difficult to add my plants. Otherwise it looks good.

These planters are great until you get 3 in of rain overnight and you realize they don't have a drain plug at the bottom to let the water out. All of my new plants floated out of the top and the potting soil spilled over the sides. It seems now my only option will be to drill a hole in the bottom to let the water out and defeat the purpose of having a self watering planter.
