Dead on arrival

I have never purchased generic batteries before and after this experience, I never will again. I used to purchase Duracell batteries from Sam’s Club but they are no longer available near me. The AA batteries in a kitchen tv remote that I use approximately ever other day are low after less than a month. The 12 batteries that I used to power outdoor fairy lights on a covered porch have died within 2 weeks. I read that Eveready manufacturers these batteries for Sam’s. These are worthless. I shall spend the extra money for Duracell in the future. Please bring back Duracells at your store.

Risky Business High Dollar Equipment

Had some leak... Date Coded 2029... Had these for about 3 months used several. But when they failed in my weather thermostat they leaked, thought with the shrink film it wouldn't happen but came out around the bottom. Luckily they we not in the device too long and the battery monitor alerted me to losing capacity so good thing I checked, minimal damage a little cleanup with soda/vinegar and the contacts were restored. I won't use in high dollar devices after this failure. Two out of the pack so far but that's too many for me.

THESE BATTERIES DO LEAK!

These batteries do leak. They work well but have ruined several of the items that I have put them in. One of them leaked in an item that I did not even turn on. Unfortunately I have a big supply of them because of Christmas gifts that i purchased that needed these batteries. Also the AAA batteries that I bought have leaked. Once they are gone I will not purchase again.

Not economical

Bought 11 months ago, just went to use the 12 remaining batteries and instead of having a voltage of 1.5 or more volts (as energizers do that are still in date), all of these batteries indicated from 1.42 to 1.45 volts, which is not enough to power a number of electronic devices. Lesson learned, don't buy.

ran down 80% faster than previous name brand!

I bought these this fall, and they are dated to be good until 2031, but they ran down in my trail camera in less than two weeks! We usually get two months, give or take and yes, that includes in the winter. We haven't even had any truly cold weather in the last 10 days so that excuse doesn't hold any water! My camera takes 12 AA batteries at a time, so we're going to go through this pack of batteries very quickly - they will end up costing us way more than the brand name batteries in the long run.

battery level only at 3/4 for the first 5 batterie

I have electronic equipment that needs 5 batteries. I bought these because they were cheaper 4$ than the energizer. WHen I took 5 fresh batteries from the battery pack fresh from receiving from samsclub, it is already 3/4 battery level left. It is not fully charged. I checked they don't have a manufacturing date so don't know how old they are though they said 10 years shelf life. Right now I will not recommend until I try another brand but that will be a year or less from now when I used up all 48 pack.

cheap poor quality batteries

Cheap junk I bought these for Christmas decorations and they lasted about 1 week before I had to change out the batteries Last year for the same decorations my Duracell batteries last for the entire Christmas season (November thru mid January) Not even close to the quality! I wouldn’t and will not recommend them !!! It’s getting a 1 because it has to have something and zero isn’t a choice

LEAKS! NEVER will buy these again.

We bought a large pack of these batteries and so so so many of them leaked battery acid, and I mean quite a bit. I had to start going through everything that had batteries to remove the Members Mark batteries so I wouldn’t have to continue to throw things away that had battery acid leaked on them.

Too Hot To Handle **Potentially Dangerous**

Been buying these for years for my kids toys and gaming controllers. They have always been fantastic…Until they weren’t?! Last 2 boxes of AAs I purchased get extremely hot after being in anything for only a short period of time. So hot I have to use pot holders to touch them. Worried they would have exploded if we hadn’t noticed the heat coming from the battery compartment and removed them? (Note I bought a second box to replace the first as I assumed it was a fluke, but having the same issue.)

Verified Purchase

All Charged Up

Why pay more for name brands? Great value for the buck.
