Long lasting and less leaks

We used to use name brand alkaline batteries that claim to last a long time and have a long shelf life. The Member's Mark batteries are cheaper. In unofficial side-by-side tests with toys, lights, and a portable guitar amp they last as long (and longer) than the name brand batteries. Haven't tested "shelf life" (how long they will last just sitting there without internally discharging) but have noticed that when left in equipment/toys they have LESS tendency to leak. Several boxes and only 3 batteries have ever leaked. A lot lower than we were used to with other alkaline batteries. A great and economic choice if you use batteries a lot.

Same brand as energizer so they’re great

These batteries are great my only complaint is when it was shipped to me the shipping box was just about open as there are many batteries it’s heavy and got banged up in shipping. Batteries work good I believe they are the same brand as energizer so should work about as well as they do. Overall I recommend maybe for pickup though.

Need Better Packing & Packaging for Shipment

While these batteries are fine and economical, I still find some of the namebrands have a bit more longevity. My main concern wasn't so much with the batteries, but in the shipping of them. First, they were shipped in an oversized box with another product I had ordered. There was absolutely no packing materials and the products were shifting loosely all over the box. Thus, the battery package had opened up and the batteries were rolling all around in the box.

All Dead Batteries

Just purchased a pack of these batteries for various items around the house. However, the most important one being my bp machine. I removed the old batteries and put in all new MM batteries. Didn't need it at the time, so placed it to the side. Fast forward a week later and I go to take my bp and the machine wont even turn on. I replaced the "new" batteries with another set from the pack and nothing. I figured the machine had finally ran it's course after 4 years. But then I decided to put in the previous batteries and the machine started up displaying low battery, but functional none-the-less! So I replaced all the old batteries with different "new" batteries from MM and return to blank screen. So I got a big package of dead batteries that I now have to return! Maybe it was just a fluke, but when I return them I am going to get me a trusted brand. Which is what I should of did initially.

Members Mark batteries

I am trying these batteries I am not a big fan of off brand batteries. My experience has not been good, usually very short life cycle. I was disappointed when Sam discontinued carrying Duracell. I will see how these work out and hope the quality and longevity will last equal to Duracell. Will follow up if i decide they are worth the cost.

Better than Amazon!

We've only been using these about a month but I'm very happy with the quality and price. Batteries have gotten so very expensive and we have many products at home that use these often. There's no better value than this! I've switched from buying the Amazon batteries to these Sam's club ones.

Good battery, good price

We try to order these when they have a coupon; we like to have them on-hand. They perform very well and the price is better than any other good quality batteries. They make a great gift for parents when you gift their children a battery-operated gift.

Cost too high

The batteries are comparable to the national brands, the problem is that they raised the price so much that they also now cost as much as the national brands. I have been buying my batteries at Northern because they sell a 24 pack for $10 and always put them on sale bogo making them $10 for 48 batteries vs. $20 for 48 batteries from Sam’s.

Very good bang-for-the-buck

I go through a lot of alkaline batteries, so I buy in bulk. These seem to be pretty much equal to Duracell and Energizer, certainly "close enough". And they're a lot less expensive! I keep them on hand all the time for my wireless computer keyboard/mouse, TV remote controls and everything else that takes AA cells. Same with the AAA and D sizes. Highly recommended.

my new regular brand

I could not get my regular brand and needed batteries so after reading reviews I decided I would try them out. Great price and so far I haven't had any problems. I haven't had long enough to talk about longevity but I believe they will be as good if not better than what I was buying.
