[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soil stays true to its name and is filled with roots. There’s almost 1/2 dark organic matter and 1/2 thin, delicate roots in this mix. My garden has had this in it for a few weeks and is doing well. I would use this again as a topper but I wouldn’t buy a truckload to start a new bed.

With Texas summers reaching 100* and beyond (it’s now July), I’m going to wait another month or so before planting my fall garden. I can’t wait to add Back to the Roots gardening soil along with the dirt in my garden to promote healthy growth. I love how this product has dolomite limestone to balance the pH. I’m very excited to see healthier flowers and vegetables this fall!
