They are stainless steel plated. Used to be incredibly durable forks. You are better off buying plastic because you will end up throwing them away anyways.

I love these girls once you get them out of the package. The plastic wrap that goes around the forks from one end to the other is tough trying to get off. A lot of elderly people will have a hard time cutting the plastic off. I had a hard time cutting it off without slicing my fingers. They should’ve used a twist ties to hold the forks together. The forks are made well and have a great price.

Really wanted to like this set since it was a great price, but the edges are not at all smooth. Very cheap looking.
