These batteries leak and ruin devices.

I have had two Roku remotes and one dog collar end up with a leaky AAA battery from member's Mark. I can promise you I won't buy any of these. I have always liked member mark because they were good value and never really had a leak problem until now. I cannot afford to keep losing devices.

Aaa batteries DO NOT have a 1 year shelf life

I bought the 48 pack of mm aaa batteries. It states the batteries have a 10 year shelf life. I'd say less than one because the batteries don't even have a half charge on any of the batteries. I'll never buy members mark again. Very disappointing because the other mm products work well.

LEAKING BATTERIES

Thought I'd save a little money by purchasing a 48 pack of Members Mark AAA Alkaline batteries -- mistake. With almost 3 years of shelf life left, 5 of them were dead while still new in the original packaging. Took them to Sam's at Denham Springs. Woman at Customer Service said there was nothing she could do as I had already used most of the batteries. At the time, I did not discuss that 2 of the batteries had leaked into a digital audio recorder -- later determination that recorder is dead. In my past experiences, batteries generally were good for an additional 1-2 years beyond the shelf life date -- not these. Separate note: leaking AA Members Mark batteries also killed my Canon camera and I just discovered leaking MM AA batteries in my TV remote. Cleaned the remote and it still works, but the leaking battery still had 7 years left per shelf life date. No longer using Members Mark AAA or AA batteries.

They don’t last

Horrible batteries!! They simply don’t last, even with light use. How Sam’s Club puts their brand name on this type of inferior products is beyond me. While the price may be lower, the final cost is 3, 4 or more times higher than that of a renowned brand that lasts years instead of mere weeks.

Leaks!

These batteries with a use by 12-2029 date leaked and ruined my medical device. They were installed for 5 months and not run down at all. I would accept it as part of the risk of using alkaline batteries but they brag in your face about leak resistance.
