Both packages states that there was on pound of chicken breast. One was 14.34 oz and the other was 12.72. Almost 6 oz short and at 6.77/lb every on counts.

I like this chicken but lately when you open the package it STINKS! Old me would have thrown the package out thinking it went bad. Eating it I can't get the smell out of my head. I do curbside and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the poor handling.

Normally I buy the pack of chicken breasts and the last several times I've bought it, the chicken has smelled rank. I'll wash it off and get rid of most of the bad smell but as soon as I cut the chicken breast into chunks, the stench comes back out because it's all throughout the meat. Thought I'd try the thin sliced version today and once again, it smells very spoiled. Not sure if their delivery trucks are hot in the back and that's what's spoiling the chicken lately- or if there's just too long of a period between the chicken being harvested and then delivered and packaged and put out front. But even the family agrees that it's all been smelling very spoiled lately

I hate writing a negative review but I have to be honest. The package I bought was not thin-sliced. I prefer thin-sliced so that was a disappointment. I cooked one package but did not notice anything remarkably different from other generic chicken breasts. However, the other package had a strong spoiled smell. Trying to be fair, I contacted Farmer Focus through their website and notified them of the spoiled package, providing them with the farm ID, the date, and the lot %23. I waited a week and did not get a response, so I will assume the product I purchased meets their quality standards. I prefer the Sam's club brand bulk chicken because it has always been fresh.

This is one of the best organic chicken items you can buy. I am perplexed to hear that some people are complaining that their chicken was spoiled. The difference in high-end organic chicken is that it is not floating in a slime bath before packaging. Thus, you get a different smell. By far, this is the best and healthiest chicken Sam's Club has ever carried. Please keep it, as some of us truly appreciate it!

I was so excited to see Farmer Focus Chicken when I was it at Sams the other day grocery shopping. I'm very picky with where I buy my meat and have been struggling to find a local butcher. Farmer Focus lets you trace the chicken back to their farmers so you dont have to guess where its from or if the chickens were treated inhumanely. I love it! Only chicken I will buy in a grocery store, and its organic so I feel good feeding it to my kids and family.

This was some of the best chicken that I have ever bought at a grocery store! I Love that it is thin sliced which makes it really easy to cook evenly and quickly without having to try to cut it myself or use a tenderizer to flatten it. The tray that it comes in is awesome and one that I haven't seen at Sam's before. It is really sturdy with a removable thick plastic seal that prevents the possibility of leaks. I finally found chicken that can stay in its own tray for seasoning or breading without having to put it in a separate bowl. (Less mess/less dishes!) I was impressed with the flavor and how juicy and tender it is. Even my picky kids gave their approval. I am really happy with the price at Sam's- it is a cost effective way to get really good quality organic chicken.
