We all dread potty training (at least I did being a first time mama) but with Elmo it felt like playtime. I had previously purchased a different brand of potty system and it was a complete mess. My son and I both were unmotivated to try again after day one. With the this specific one, he absolutely adored the sounds and encouragement he received from Elmo! Which two and half year old doesn't love a colorful Elmo on their potty? This system turns into a step stool right afterwards and further encouraged him to wash his hands because "Elmo is helping me reach the sink!" The main feature that I absolutely loved was the built in splash guard. I simply didn't worry once about it while he used the potty. Other brands we tried had a detachable piece and fell off every single time he peed, it was a nightmare. Easy surface to clean and extremely durable (munchkin tossed it around and jumped it on it a lot)Do yourself a favor and grab this , you and your little one will enjoy potty time and it honestly didn't feel like a chore! It’s also perfect to use as a stool when the lid is closed. It’s comes apart so it’s so easy to clean and take with us if needed. The potty even has flush and it makes music when you press it. I was happy to get this Sesame Street Potty for free to review and test. I’m currently potty training my son, but with 4 girls and a boy it’s a better fit for girls .. it was not big enough to fit my son’s parts completely.. he would get pee half in and half out the potty .. also without a sensor he seems like he sits there for a while or I have to keep checking to see if he did something

My boy girl twins were so excited to get this Elmo potty. The noises were very encouraging and got them excited to try it. It is also a great value because you can transition from the little potty, to using the potty seat and the potty as the step stool, so less products to buy and clutter the bathroom! Easy to use and clean. I always have my boy lean forward a little when sitting to help avoid splashing but this does have a splash guard as well. I love this potty it has a fun design and is easy to set up. This was very easy to clean after use. I liked the flushing sound, this made it fun for my daughter. She also loved it was Elmo she started off saying go Elmo when she had to go potty. The material was durable well built. I really like the steps that come with it we did not use them much yet but did set them up and try them out. We will use these more soon. The little handle does three sounds: a simulated toilet flush (potty does not actually flush), Elmo laughing and saying "hooray," Elmo laughing and saying "you did it." There is a little guard to keep urine from being sprayed forward. Fitting it onto the adult toilet seat took some time and adjusting. Would recommend

My 2 year old is afraid of the toilet but when we got this she was so excited and didn’t want to get off. The potty ring and bowl are separate pieces and can be washed easily. I also love that it can be used as a stool too.

My 2 year old son immediately gravitated towards this potty because he saw his favorite Sesame Street characters, which is a plus since we are just starting to potty train! This also is what drew me in as well. The flushing and sound effects of the potty definitely serves as a positive reinforcement and I would say it is what allows him to stay excited when its potty time. Potty training in general is difficult Ive been told, especially for boys but over the last 2 months Ive seen my son more and more interested (using his words, pulling the potty out, pulling his pants down, etc.), as well as intentional. He makes it a point to go to the potty to pee (for now), which is a start we are very proud of! The potty is also very versatile since you can put down the lid and use it as a step stool. Hes already started his chores (washing dishes haha!) Its also very helpful because he can reach up to the soap and the sink to wash his hands! This is the first potty weve tried in our potty training journey but the process has been a lot easier than expected so I have no need to try other products at the moment. He loves it and so do I! As a critique, however, I would say that I wished the insert and potty seat snapped on because it all comes off once he finishes. Although, it is easy to come off, it allows my son to think its a toy and it isnt, especially after hes gone potty. Helping him up slowly and sanitizing immediately reduces these instances.

My daughter loves this potty. The potty itself is really sturdy and feels of good quality, although it is a little larger than some of the standard floor potties (i have 3 older kids who i have potty trained). It often lives in the hallway, and doesnt get knocked over like some of the flimsier potties do. My daughter loves the flushing, even if she doesn't actually make anything, she always makes sure to flush! She wasn't very excited about going to the potty with the other ones we have but when we got this Elmo potty she never refuses to sit down and try. The flush is definitely a selling point. I really like that when it folds it is a stool, so even though it takes up more space, you can leave it out and it is useful rather than trying to tuck it away somewhere in the bathroom (and it is useful for my other kids) The only negative of the potty, why i did not give it 5 stars is the bowl itself it a little small. For my daughter its not as big of an issue, but with boys i would imagine there may be more splash since the bowl is shallow. *I received this product for free in exchange for my review*

My son loves his Elmo potty. Be has been giving us issues with potty training and this potty has helped push it along. He loves that Elmo is on the potty and he can help him flush the toilet when he's done. Itis easy for him to use and he likes that he can close the lid. I like that as a parent it is easy for me to clean out. I received this training potty for free in exchange for my review but it in no way influenced my opinions.
