My daughter loves this potty. The potty itself is really sturdy and feels of good quality, although it is a little larger than some of the standard floor potties (i have 3 older kids who i have potty trained). It often lives in the hallway, and doesnt get knocked over like some of the flimsier potties do. My daughter loves the flushing, even if she doesn't actually make anything, she always makes sure to flush! She wasn't very excited about going to the potty with the other ones we have but when we got this Elmo potty she never refuses to sit down and try. The flush is definitely a selling point. I really like that when it folds it is a stool, so even though it takes up more space, you can leave it out and it is useful rather than trying to tuck it away somewhere in the bathroom (and it is useful for my other kids) The only negative of the potty, why i did not give it 5 stars is the bowl itself it a little small. For my daughter its not as big of an issue, but with boys i would imagine there may be more splash since the bowl is shallow. *I received this product for free in exchange for my review*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been an excellent trainer for our 20 month old. We decided to try an earlier training with our third daughter and this potty has been the best fit. With our older daughters we tried standard potties and it took us much longer. This time, the training is seemingly moving quicker (too soon to tell yet, but if she get fully trained before her second birthday that would mean a much faster training lol). The potty has become and instant hit. It is convenient, fun, comes with several toiled related encouraging sounds, and overall very well build & sturdy. The potty has a lid that serves as a backseat when up and doubles as a step stool when down. The latter is extra convenient, as our daughter can easily step on it to wash her hands etc. The bowl is easy to remove and clean. Again we anticipate quick training period but the potty will have served us well even if it takes us a while. Excellent, fun product for kids!

My son is almost 3, and we've been trying casually to potty train for months. We've stalled a bit. His original potty is just white and gray, so not very exciting. As soon as he saw the Elmo potty he was excited to go pee. He loves Elmo, and he LOVES that he can flush. I don't like the loud creaky noise that the lid makes when opening and closing. Also, the insert should have more of a spout for pouring the pee into the toilet. But I'm hopeful this will help us get rid of the pull-ups!

I thought by now he would be fully in the middle of potty training but he wasnt at all interested at first so We are just getting started. Hes been using the potty for about a week and so far its a success! The Elmo 3 in 1 potty is reliable. It is sturdy and seems to be comfortable for an almost 2 year old. The potty is colorful and has a nice picture of Elmo on it. My little one absolutely loves the flushing sound made with the handle. He already enjoyed the flushing sound of the regular toilet So I knew he would be happy about this! I thought by now he would be fully in the middle of potty training but at first he wasn't interested at all. Were just getting started good. He has been using the potty for about a week. He was peed in it several times. Clean up is quick and easy. I am hoping to use it much more in the future!

Loved the all in one feature being able to use it as a step stool and a potty chair. Took a little adjustment for my daughter to be comfortable, but once she was she had so much fun flushing and hearing the sound effects. The splash guard is great addition for training boys.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest feedback. I didn't know how my daughter would respond to it because she has never seen Elmo before. Fortunately she loves it! We're on our second week of potty training and it's going great. We have this potty and another one that looks similar to a real toilet (but child sized). She is very intimidated by that one but loves her Elmo potty. I think the biggest difference is the size. This one is just right for her (she's an average height 2.5 year old). She loves the flushing sounds and Elmo's "hooray!". As for me, I love how easy it is to take out the bowl to clean between each use. It's also very easy to carry - which is perfect when you're following your child around all day with a potty. Since being given this potty, we've purchased a second one for grandma's house!

Our hope was that since this potty incorporated one of his favorite characters that he would be more inclined to try it. Well it worked! He was so excited when he saw the Elmo potty! The potty includes a pretend-flush handle with fun sounds and Elmo’s voice which definitely intrigued him! It has been a few weeks and my little one is now doing great with the potty process! The potty chair is the perfect size; it takes up minimal space in our bathroom. It is lightweight so it can be easily carried from one bathroom to the next or taken with you if you are visiting family/friends. There are handles on the side of the potty that he can hold onto that help him feel secure on the seat. The seat is soft and padded. The waste cup removes easily for cleanup. This 3 in 1 potty is also great as it grows with my little one. Once he is finished with the potty chair, the seat from the chair can be removed and placed on a regular toilet. You can also close the lid to the potty chair and it becomes a step stool which my little one loves. After using the potty he closes the lid and stands on the stool to wash his hands. There are so many great things about this potty! If you have little ones that are starting the potty training process, I definitely recommend this Elmo potty by Kolcraft. It is a must have!

I got this product in exchange for my honest review of it. We were very excited to start the potty training process with my daughter and figured that this potty system would be great since she loves Elmo. When I got the potty I was very excited with how easy it was to set up and start using. The colors are great and Elmo's picture helped to draw my daughter into checking it out. I love that they can "flush" the potty and it gives them some encouragement. I also love that the lid can close and turn into a stool for helping her wash her hands. Having a lid that closes is also nice to protect the potty seat from dust or other things that might accumulate on it from the bathroom. I do wish that the lid did not slam down so hard when my 2 year old is trying to close it, but I think that is just because of the weight of the lid with the sound stuff in it and whatnot. Beside the weight of the lid, I really didn't have any cons to this potty seat. I also love that the white part of the seat can be transitioned onto the big toilet when she is ready to move over. I would recommend it to others who's children also love Elmo.

I simply love this potty. The reason that is so different and outstanding its because is educational for my little toddler. In few weeks of using it my daughter made a tremendous change in going and asking for the potty. I would highly recommend and definitely purchase in the future.

My 2 year old is afraid of the toilet but when we got this she was so excited and didn’t want to get off. The potty ring and bowl are separate pieces and can be washed easily. I also love that it can be used as a stool too.
