The flavor of this protein shake is excellent. It has a nice, smooth vanilla flavor that isn't fake or overpowering. It really does taste just like a milkshake! It is just the the consistency- not too thin, not too thick. It isn't chalky or powdery and goes down smooth. However, I have to give this 3 stars due to the packaging that makes this very difficult to open. The bottle is wrapped in plastic that goes up and around the lid, so you have to peel the plastic off from the lid to be able to screw it off. There is also a metal seal glued down around the opening of the bottle. It is so tight to the bottle that it makes it very difficult to pull it off. I usually buy the Fairlife brand protein drinks and those simply have the screw-on cap; no seal and no plastic up over the top. I really like the flavor of this drink but I am hesitant to purchase more unless the packaging is changed. I understand the seals are for safety and to prevent leakage but I feel there has to be a better way than struggling to get the bottle open every morning. I do recommend this product for flavor - but just keep in mind you'll need that extra protein to get the bottle open!

It is incredibly smooth and creamy, reminiscent of a vanilla bean milkshake but without the heavy sugar load. The vanilla flavor is balanced—sweet enough to satisfy a craving but clean enough that it doesn't leave a lingering artificial aftertaste.

Not sure why you feel it necessary to package these so different from the chocolate. Same fluid ounce, same # of items in a box (12 vs 15) makes no sense. The square boxes you use for chocolate are much easier to open. Doubt I'll buy the vanilla again unless the packaging changes.

My husband is a garbage driver and took these protein shakes in the morning for breakfast. He said they tasted like a melted vanilla ice cream cone. He was very impressed with the flavor. He did like them cold so we stored in the fridge. He said it kept him pretty full until lunch time.

This is a good way to get your protein in. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. I drank it after chilling it in the refrigerator. The flavor was good, although I would like to try chocolate. Low in carbs and sugar, so it's a bonus for me. The drink was a little thin, like watery. I'd prefer if it was a bit thicker.

I like this product I try to drink protein shakes as much as possible because let's be honest. I don't Eat everything with the nutritional value that I should. I've been drinking one of these in the morning on the way to work and it's satisfying and keeps me full. I'll have a snack around 9:30 though.

My absolute favorite protein shake. It's creamy and smooth, but best of all there isn't an aftertaste from the sweetener as there are in the other protein shakes I have tried. I have added ice to it to make it thicker. It's also great with blueberries mixed in.

These are amazing.! They taste great and the price is good. Great for a little treat while on a high protein diet. I enjoy them for breaks or an after workout treat. I did try to make a shake out of one, it was a bit foamy from the blender. I will be keeping these stocked in my fridge

Like many people, I'll drink a protein shake to get more protein throughout the day. I don't think many People drink them because they enjoy them so much; It's really just a necessity. Also like many folks, I have figured out that Fairlife really is the best tasting. Those things are over two dollars apiece now which is ridiculous. Having the opportunity to try the vanilla ultra filtered from members Mark was fantastic. I just hope they plan to make a chocolate version; these could replace the Fairlife for me if they do. The best way to drink these is right out of the bottle, don't pour it in a glass because then you'll smell it. Usually smelling these drinks is what will turn me off from them; this one does taste good, it smells a little bit too milky for me and if you're sensitive to those sorts of smells, keep that in mind. As a rule, it's always a good idea to shake your protein shake up and drink them as soon as you can after buying them if you leave them, sit around too long most of them will separate and you might end up getting chunks. It doesn't hurt you, but it is gross. I didn't notice any chunks in these, but I've only had them a couple days altogether. I see no downside to purchasing these. It's A less expensive way to get 30 g of protein.

This is a great larger size at 11.5 oz I feel like compared to the other brands. It tastes better cold of course but is versatile enough to where I can even add it to my coffee or smoothies. It has low sugar, so my mom who is a diabetic also drinks it. Its been my go to when on the road, work, and in between meals. I really like that it has a resealable cap so I can store it back in the fridge or throw it in my bag.
