Tempura Nuggets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well don't these look exactly like everyone's favorite chicken nugget!! the texture, the feel, and even the taste are almost identical! They came out so perfectly in the air fryer too! The kids I care for absolutely thought they were the “real deal” and they are even better because you don't feel the “guilt” of spending money on fast food

Crispy and family friendly chicken nuggets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Country Pride Tempura Nuggets and was impressed by their crispy tempura coating and tender chicken inside. They cook up golden and crunchy, making them perfect for quick meals or snacks. The flavor is mild, delicious, and enjoyed by the whole family.

Why spend more?

Do they taste exactly like mcdonald's? Absolutely not! When you do the cost per nugget algebra compared to McDonald's are they worth it? Heck yeah! these are delicious in their own right and I think trying to compare them to McDonald's is a stretch. however for an at home chicken nugget that doesn't leave crumbs everywhere highly recommended. the only drawback which isn't a huge issue for me they are raw and that requires more time than your typical microwave nugget, but worth it!

Tasty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nuggets were packaged well with freshness preserved. They cook up nicely and are not greasy in my opinion. I baked them in the conventional oven. The flavor is nicely balanced and not salty. My family enjoyed these nuggets as a quick, tasty meal.

Chicken nuggests even adults will enjoy

I still remember my very first McDonald's chicken nugget back in the early part of the 1980s at Wayne Hills Mall in Wayne, NJ. My mom had just bought me Thom McAn Capezios, and she noticed McDonald's was handing out free samples of a brand‑new menu item. She never passed up a freebie, so off we went. She had my sister and me circle back more than once until we'd had our fill. I guess she was solving the need to cook dinner. Fast‑forward to today... I haven't bought frozen nuggets in years, and the last time was by mistake. (I grabbed Tyson nuggets thinking they were the crispy strips). I did try some of those nuggets, but they were rubbery and didn't taste nearly as good as the crispy strips. Although I find Tyson chicken strips are hit or miss (if you find one rubber/gristly piece in the bag, you will probably find more). Country Pride Tempura Chicken Nuggets — my first bite gave me flashbacks to my youth. These nuggets are so good that I went back and bought 3 more boxes (they were also on sale). I have seen the Country Pride Chicken Strips before at Sam's Club, but never saw these nuggets. I think I used to get Country Pride Chicken Patties like a decade ago (helped make easy single‑serve chicken parm). I'll admit I was a little hesitant since these start as raw chicken, and I have had some bad luck cooking raw meats in the air fryer. But they cooked perfectly in my air fryer (Ninja Crispi). Trust those instructions — 12 minutes on Air Fry for perfect nuggets. These nuggets are good enough that I'm planning to try their chicken strips next once I clear some freezer space. My advice? Buy these nuggets. You won't regret it. However, it may lead to some difficult decisions... like which dipping sauce to use.

Great nuggets!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome new favorite snack/meal of my kids. Very easy to cook and holds pretty well. Tastes great just better than the fast food nuggets. Texture is the same or even better than name brands. Definitely a must try.

Delicious, but needs tweak to the Nutritional Info

Crispy and delicious when deep-fried. My only complaint is the nutritional information. I'm a Type-1 Diabetic. So if I eat a few nuggets, I need to have a good idea of how many carbs I'm taking in. It shows us the serving size by weight, the number of servings in the box, and the weight of the box of nuggets. I'm going to have to break out a scale and weight 4oz of nuggets to find out how many nuggets are in 1 serving, as the nutritional info only lists weight. Most companies would put "Approximately %23 nuggets." FYI, it's "Approximately 5 Nuggets" for this product, as I weighed 5 nuggets and it came to 3.9oz. ...still delicious though.

Buy them. Period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh. My. God. These things are delicious. I thought at the very least they would be a bland substitute to the McDonald’s chicken nugget. They are every bit as good as those. I deep fried them but my husband said they are good air fried too. They are crunchy on the outside either way you cook them. I will definitely be buying these in the future.

Fast food nuggets at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Country Pride Tempura Nuggets give the feeling of fast food nuggets at home, but with a better price point and better for you! We used the air fryer method and my only critique is that the bottoms of the nuggets stuck to my air fryer, even when I gave them a little extra time to crisp up (although, I have had this issue with any tempura battered foods I have done, like fish) We did not feel the need to add to these, the batter is perfectly seasoned to taste lightly salted. Overall, it was a hit with myself, my husband, and my toddler!
