it's cute but the younger children like to close it and it slams down on fingers. it should have some kind of latch to hold top up. My grandson is just learning how to use it, but has slammed it down on his hand and fingers. Not happy with this. Could be a pretty easy fix.

I was provided this potty for free in exchange for an honest review. My son was immediately interested in the potty, pointing to Elmo and playing with the flusher. He sat right down on it and pretending to go to the bathroom. We were able to get rid of our step stool and use this as a potty and step stool which has been great in a small bathroom. My only complaint is how heavy the lid is. It tends to fall down and can be frustrating at times. Overall I would recommend this potty for its multiple features, ease of cleaning, flushing handle with sound and adorable Elmo face.

The built-in hold-on handles for when he is ready to transition to a regular toilet is very beneficial for independence when toileting! The one-hand removal of the toilet trainer is simple and easy for me. You really do need to sanitize it regularly by taking it apart. But it cleans up realy nicely with sanitizing pray and paper towels. It's easy to store and small enough to carry around when they are first learning how to potty. I love the flusher!

My son loves this potty but I hate it. No matter how far back he sits on it he still has to hold himself down when he pees or it gets all over the floor and his pants. The pee guard is useless. I gave it 2 stars because of the grip on the part that catches the pee and poo and the noises the flasher makes.

Bought this training potty for our 3 year old son who loves Elmo. Very cute and has a fun flusher that makes Elmo noises but the guard in the front of it is too small and doesn’t really do much to protect against the inevitable. If it had a taller guard I would rate higher, also the potty itself is on the smaller side, but definitely a cute little thing.

My daughter has been very afraid to use the toilet even with a toddler seat, so I decided to buy this and give it a shot. The very first day she played with it, then I explained to her what it was for and she quickly loved it. It’s not intimidating, it’s fun because she gets to pretend flush, and she loves using this as a step stool to wash her hands. She loves that she can be very independent because it’s that easy for her. Recommended for every toddler!

My son loves his Elmo potty. Be has been giving us issues with potty training and this potty has helped push it along. He loves that Elmo is on the potty and he can help him flush the toilet when he's done. Itis easy for him to use and he likes that he can close the lid. I was happy to get this Sesame Street Potty for free to review and test. I’m currently potty training my son, but with 4 girls and a boy it’s a better fit for girls .. it was not big enough to fit my son’s parts completely.. he would get pee half in and half out the potty .. also without a sensor he seems like he sits there for a while or I have to keep checking to see if he did something

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. When we first got the potty, my son was very much interested in it. He went crazy for Elmo and loved to 'flush' the potty. We've slowly let him become more interested in wanting to potty and this got him started toward that. While he would sit on it and 'flush' it, he didn't want to actually use the potty. But we're getting there with him. The step stool was his favorite and he loves to stand on it to brush his teeth at night and in the morning. I love how interested this made my son and can't wait until he's ready to start the actual training, but we're on the right track.
