My son is almost 3, and we've been trying casually to potty train for months. We've stalled a bit. His original potty is just white and gray, so not very exciting. As soon as he saw the Elmo potty he was excited to go pee. He loves Elmo, and he LOVES that he can flush. I don't like the loud creaky noise that the lid makes when opening and closing. Also, the insert should have more of a spout for pouring the pee into the toilet. But I'm hopeful this will help us get rid of the pull-ups!

We are big fans of this potty! Unlike others it grows with your child and has multiple uses. We used it as a potty whole training, a seat as my child grew, and now we love using it as a stool to get on and off the big potty and brush teeth! I love that the potty can serve another purpose after those potty training days are over. We've used this potty on the go in our trunk and it's super sturdy and doesn't slip! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This potty includes a toilet trainer with deflector shield - nice touch for my granson. The built-in hold-on handles for when he is ready to transition to a regular toilet is very beneficial for independence when toileting! The one-hand removal of the toilet trainer is simple and easy for me. You really do need to sanitize it regularly by taking it apart. But it cleans up realy nicely with sanitizing pray and paper towels. It's easy to store and small enough to carry around when they are first learning how to potty. I love the flusher!

I got this sesame street elmo potty for free for an honest review. my daughter has been in the process of becoming potty trained. she hasn't seemed to like potty yet. she loved this one. she was excited when she would push the flusher down and it would say hooray, make a flushing sound or just a giggle. I love how easy it is to empty and clean. you pop the white top off by an easy lift and the red collection cup comes out. you can dump and rinse easy. The white seat part sits right on no problem. The lid closes on the potty and converts to a step stool which she loves so she can reach stuff. The potty is light weight and easy to move. but don't pick up with the white handles use the bottom turquoise ones. Over all I am very happy with the Elmo potty.

My daughter absolutely loves this potty. Her being a Sesame street fan gave potty training an added bonus. We've tried other potties, this is her favorite! As soon as seen it she immediately sat down. She enjoyed flushing the potty and hearing Elmo talk. She also enjoys the step stool. She feels like a big girl when she brushes her teeth.

My daughter loves this potty. The potty itself is really sturdy and feels of good quality, although it is a little larger than some of the standard floor potties (i have 3 older kids who i have potty trained). It often lives in the hallway, and doesnt get knocked over like some of the flimsier potties do. My daughter loves the flushing, even if she doesn't actually make anything, she always makes sure to flush! She wasn't very excited about going to the potty with the other ones we have but when we got this Elmo potty she never refuses to sit down and try. The flush is definitely a selling point. I really like that when it folds it is a stool, so even though it takes up more space, you can leave it out and it is useful rather than trying to tuck it away somewhere in the bathroom (and it is useful for my other kids) The only negative of the potty, why i did not give it 5 stars is the bowl itself it a little small. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest feedback. I didn't know how my daughter would respond to it because she has never seen Elmo before. Fortunately she loves it! We're on our second week of potty training and it's going great. We have this potty and another one that looks similar to a real toilet (but child sized). She is very intimidated by that one but loves her Elmo potty. I think the biggest difference is the size. This one is just right for her (she's an average height 2.5 year old). She loves the flushing sounds and Elmo's "hooray!". As for me, I love how easy it is to take out the bowl to clean between each use. It's also very easy to carry - which is perfect when you're following your child around all day with a potty. Since being given this potty, we've purchased a second one for grandma's house!

Bought this training potty for our 3 year old son who loves Elmo. Very cute and has a fun flusher that makes Elmo noises but the guard in the front of it is too small and doesn’t really do much to protect against the inevitable. If it had a taller guard I would rate higher, also the potty itself is on the smaller side, but definitely a cute little thing.

I got this product in exchange for my honest review of it. We were very excited to start the potty training process with my daughter and figured that this potty system would be great since she loves Elmo. When I got the potty I was very excited with how easy it was to set up and start using. The colors are great and Elmo's picture helped to draw my daughter into checking it out. I love that they can "flush" the potty and it gives them some encouragement. I also love that the lid can close and turn into a stool for helping her wash her hands. Having a lid that closes is also nice to protect the potty seat from dust or other things that might accumulate on it from the bathroom. I do wish that the lid did not slam down so hard when my 2 year old is trying to close it, but I think that is just because of the weight of the lid with the sound stuff in it and whatnot. Beside the weight of the lid, I really didn't have any cons to this potty seat. I also love that the white part of the seat can be transitioned onto the big toilet when she is ready to move over. I would recommend it to others who's children also love Elmo.
