with 4 girls and 2 males in our household we use a lot and I mean a lot of toilet paper. For a short period of time we changed to a different brand and everybody started complaining big time. I quickly changed back. Charmin is the only one for our household

With Charmin Ultra Soft, you can use so much less because of the plush softness, and amazing thickness of the paper. Plus, the roll is HUGE! One roll easily lasted us three times longer than we are used to. Charmin Ultra Soft didn't leave behind any bits of love after wiping, and we didn't experience any "poke throughs" either. All in all, very happy with Charmin, and will definitely buy in the future! But for now #gotitforfree !!

It is truly the softest and strongest papers I have ever used. Moreover, the design on the paper is such a pleasant. I love Charmin and I have been and will be a huge fan of Charmin toilet papers.

Charmin was kind enough to send a 4 pk of the mega rolls for my review, and I'm very happy with it. It doesn't tear like the bargain brands. And these huge mega rolls last forever! The downfall is the roll doesn't fit on my holder right out of the package, and has to sit on the counter until enough of it is used that it will fit. But that's a minor detail. The best thing about Charmin Ultra Soft is you can use less of the product each time with much better results than other brands.

Well our normal brand was out so we thought soft would be nice. It was really soft. Again not used to needing less lots of plugged toilets. Really not bad for a price if you’re using coupons. Make sure you check to see if septic safe when you buy it or need it. Really soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recieved my toilet paper from Charmin today. I have always liked Charmin but have never tried the Ultra Soft Mega Rolls. They are HUGE and should last longer than a normal roll, which is a big plus. It is very soft, yet still durable. I would recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the mega-roll four pack of Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Tissue and, to start off, was a little surprised to see on the package that it took the place of 16 regular rolls of toilet paper. I'm still not convinced, based on our usage, that this is the case but I guess that is something that will vary among users. I see these kinds of claims on products frequently and I think it does an injustice to the consumer. The toilet tissue definitely is soft to the touch and I have very little 'break-through' when wiping unlike when using other products that claim to be extra strength. I do, in fact, use less paper per bathroom visit because it is much more absorbent than brands I have been using. I would like to see more, deeper embossing on the paper though because I feel the embossing helps in the wiping/cleaning process. The truth of the matter is that I'd almost rather use this Ultra Soft Charmin Toilet Tissue in place of my facial tissues just because it is so soft and strong at the same time.

I have used Charmin for 45 years -- ever since I set up housekeeping. Always considered it to be the best product on the market. Give us back our standard width rolls that fit our dispensers. It's hard to believe that you would make a change that would affect so many people with so little foresight. You keep making the rolls fatter and fatter--I had to put an extender on my dispenser to accomodate the fat rolls. But there is no way to fill the ugly gap left by the skinny width. Bring back the width, and if you must save, reduce the size or number of sheets. Better yet, raise the price a little and give us both the size and width.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Charmin UltraSoft Mega roll for review. I am the type who is a middle of the road toilet paper person. I don't want the cheapest toilet paper, due to the scratchy, sand paper-like feel, but I also don't want to use the most expensive and feel like I am using golden leaves. I compared this Charmin with my current 2ply toilet paper and was surprised to find that the thickness of the Charmin 1ply was as thick (if not thicker) than my 2ply current brand. On top of that the Charmin was more cloth-like; however, I did not feel like any lint would be left behind (excuse the pun). The mega roll was definitely larger than a double roll, but still fit nicely on my toilet paper holder, without need of an extender. We do have a septic tank so I left a piece of toilet paper in a toilet (clean toilet water) to see if the paper would start to dissolve/disintegrate. After 12 hours, the Charmin still looked like it had just been placed there. I am not sure what the clog-safe claims are based on. I did not want to test those claims with more toilet paper. Overall, my family were pleased with the product.
