There was nothing off putting about it. However I cannot find any information on how much vitamin C is in the serum. Also knowing that vitamin c is normally an ingredient that does not last long in liquid form and that this product does not come with an expiration date leads me to believe that there can't be that much vitamin C. This will not replace my l'oreal vitamin c serum which comes in a sun proof container, and is mixed with silicones to stabilize the 10% vitamin C.

It goes on easily and sinks in quickly with no stickiness. The scent is a soft orange scent. It's smells like a creamy orange to me. My face loves it. My skin looks brighter and healthier. I normally shy away from anything with Vitamin C because it tends to make me red but this one didn't. It is a very nice lightweight serum that made my skin plump, bright, with a nice pinky glow. I don't think it did anything for my dark spots but I haven't used it long enough. I would definitely purchase this product.

I want to start off by saying the product smells a bit overwhelming. The packaging is a bit a cheap because the bottle is plastic, but who really cares? I can recycle it and the pump works well. A bit of the product goes a long way. It is oil-free and I notice my skin a bit more brighter in the morning. It doesn't break me out and uses clean ingredients.
