Before trying this brand I had the ultra soft variety which works pretty well, but I think that the ultra strong type has a few advanatages. First of all just because it says it is strong does not mean it is uncomfortable and not soft. The Charmin Ultra Strong is still soft and confortable. What I did notice that was different between this and the softer toilet papers like quilted nortern and angel soft is that this toiletpaper is srong and I can use less of it since it does not break up while using it. This is a huge advantage since you use less and the roll lasts longer. For this reason and its general comfort I would recommend this brand.

That being said we always bought the Charmin with the blue label, the ultra soft. I am so glad I got to try the ultra strong. We are never going back to ultra soft. I like the durability of this way better. While the soft was great I found I could use even less squares with the ultra strong. On average 4 squares a use. It holds up well but is still soft enough to not irritate me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know it was ultra strong paper but my goodness at least for me it was almost unusable. Yes it was soft and comfertable on my tushy just for lack of better terms was hard to wipe. Felt like way to much paper to get the job done.

For a detail oriented person like me, it says a lot about a person when they have Charmin brand products as opposed to a cheaper alternative. Per its design, Charmin Ultra Strong is soft, durable, and gets the job done with less resources. Overall, this makes it a smarter product.

At first inspection, the paper is soft but very thick, almost like paper towels. It takes a little getting used to, and very soon, you use much less than thinner brands. So for the first time, I might have to start buying name brand toilet paper!

It is strong, highly absorbant and yet oh-so soft. We love Charmin Ultra String and plan to continue using this product. One word of caution though. It is easy to use too much toilet paper with the thicker plies of paper and clog up the toilet.

Most toilet paper is too rough and that is why I have used Charmin as it is softer, though it did not stand up well over all. I never thought of purchasing Charmin Ultra Strong as I thought it would be along the lines of other "strong" toilet paper. Boy am I glad I got to try this for free because is it not only STRONG but at the same time it is still soft and not rough like most. This is a product I will now purchase as needed in the store!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is just what I like in a toilet paper. It's thick, sturdy, and soft too. Due to its strength, I can get away with just using two or three sheets instead of more. That's a money saver for me. My young son, who was recently toilet trained, does very well with this TP. My typical store-brand tissue is soft, but not as thick as this, and it tears and soaks through much more easily. I would definitely consider switching to this Charmin tissue from here on out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very soft and strong roll seemed to last much longer then the Kirkland brand I tend to buy, may be because I used less per wipe one thing I did notice is it has a hard time going down the drain in the bathroom in my shop, granted it is an older bathroom and the flow may not be as strong I do not have this problem with the Kirkland brand? Could be it does not break up very easily. I would definitely recommend this to anyone not to sure on price difference compared to other papers but is a very good choice..

It not only is strong and holds up in all situations, it is soft and makes clean up very comfortable. I would recommend Charmin Ultra Strong above all others. I believe once tried, it will become the only toilet paper used. Try it!!
