I suffer from psoriasis and have lesions 'down there'. :( Consequently, I need to, and hence, have been using soft TP. Granted, Charmin feels soft and the roll itself has a very light heft. I needed to use just half of what I was using on my old TP that the Charmin replaced. The thing is, this roll ran out a lot quicker. I do not know if the package we received to review was a non-standard sample/ trial size. I gave it one star less (four stars) for the inadequate number of sheets in the roll and for the sheet width. I am of average build and I found the width not adequate. I am sure Charmin will lose out on bigger or heavier set persons with this sheet width. Pros: ---- 1) Definitely soft 2) Light 3) Passed the 'no-finger-pass-thru' test Cons: ---- 1) Not enough sheets in the roll 2) Sheets a tad too narrow

1st ... I am a Charmin consumer as no other will so in my house. So what a surprise when I opened this package. The texture (Dura Clean Texture ...as the packaging reads) is harsh. Will have to find the softer version for my guests. And then I noticed the roll is considerably narrower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using store-brand toilet paper for a while now in order to save money, which it does, but you certainly lose out on some comfort. It had been so long since I used a name-brand, I had forgotten the luxury of using a real, soft, toilet paper. My experience with Charmin Ultra Strong may be enough to have me pinch my pennies with something else instead of toilet paper. The product is incredibly soft and a pleasure to you use.

The immediate reaction when holding the package of Charmin Ultra is the urge to squeeze it! Remember..."Don't squeeze the Charmin"? You can tell this is tough stuff. The first pull on the cloth like roll is also making you realize there is not going to be a need for an excessive amount. Cons, after years of using bargain brand it was difficult to gauge the appropriate amount of Ultra to be using, in some cases this was wasteful. In closing, the product quality exceeded expectations. I always look for more "green friendly products" like a tubeless toilet paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Charmin! it is my preferred brand. The Mrs' tells me that I look like the Charmin Papa Bear!!! Wish it wasn't so expensive though, so I don't get to buy it as often as I would want. But the free sample that I got today was awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is just what I like in a toilet paper. It's thick, sturdy, and soft too. Due to its strength, I can get away with just using two or three sheets instead of more. That's a money saver for me. My young son, who was recently toilet trained, does very well with this TP. My typical store-brand tissue is soft, but not as thick as this, and it tears and soaks through much more easily. I would definitely consider switching to this Charmin tissue from here on out.

The soft paper is so gentle, but still cleans very effectively, so everyone is happy. I had told my neighbors when they were over for a Holiday party and they in turn had told their neighbors, so I feel that this is the talk of the neighborhood as everyone has families and we want to ensure that they TP we use is comfortable, durable, and effective at cleaning.

Why is it that companies think consumers won't notice changes in their products? So you make the roll more narrow to save money but in the end you lose a customer . I t doesn't work with my dispenser. Did anyone ever give that any consideration BEFORE you changed your product??? Last time I will buy your product after 35 years of loyalty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my Charmin toilet paper and couldn't wait to use it. This is nice and thick, doesn't tear and the roll is a jumbo roll which I love. The Charmin toilet paper is very thick and doesn't rip or tear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this TP is so soft on the tush, plus it doesnt break apart and leave flakes behind. I highly recommend this over any other brand Ive used. Everyone buys toilet paper. Might as well get your moneys worth, right?
