[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the TV advertisements use a clever animated bear family to get their point across that Charmin Ultra Strong is so much better than other products, you can use less of it to do the same job. Well, I must confess, I believe the advertisement is best in teaching children through animation that excessive use of a paper product is bad for the environment. This all being said, I would still use this product as I would any other product providing it didn't cause some irritation in its use. I would consider the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper to be so strong that it would rival any brand of paper towel. As long as the hygiene job is completed, then the product did as it was expected to do.

Yes, it protects against the messy fingers that can happen with flimsy paper but I do like something a little softer. I still would absolutely buy this before a bargain brand or something like Scott.

I'm not sure if I agree with the "use up to 4x less" fact. I would say it would be closer to 2x less if anything. The strength is very nice and I think that is a big factor in the amount used, considering it doesn't tear so I use less.

I use to use this all of the time, but do to budget cutbacks, I had to go to a lesser brand for a cheaper price. I never had to worry about it breaking or anything being left over. It would be the brand I went with if it were cheaper.

It is much more absorbent than the other brands that my family usually purchases. I also liked the fact that it was unscented, since we only buy unscented toilet paper. It is more expensive than some other popular brands, however, it did not require using as many sheets as any of the other brands that we use. I used half as many sheets of this Charmin than our usual brands. Overall, Charmin Ultra Strong is a quality product that is worth paying a higher price for, and is perfect for the whole family to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Charmin Ultra Soft guy, in fact I have converted 5 people to ultra soft. Ultra strong held up well. I am a married man and I have learned about the rate at which women use toilet paper so I "interviewed" my wife. Here is how it went: Me: You like the new toilet paper? Her: Yeah. Me: Cool. So that's pretty much a glowing review from my wife. Don't get me wrong she is usually very verbose about the littlest things. Overall it's not as soft as ultra soft but my cat did get a hold of about 1/4 of a roll and he couldn't tear it up as easy as the ultra soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charmin Ultra Strong is as soft or less than the store brand. It does absorbs a great deal. However, I felt like I had to use more to wipe. Having kids in the house I felt as we did go through it pretty fast.The package indicates you can use less but in my case I felt that wasn't true. I prefer the cost savings of the store brand. My husband thought it wast as soft as I thought.

I have told my wife that this is the new tp in our house for good! And shes already purchased more. I would recommend the toilet paper to everyone its the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only toilet paper i use in my house. It holds up against the worst and is also soft enough to use to blow my nose. The bigger rolls make it nice because you have to switch your roll out far less than the regular rolls. This past Halloween it also made for a great impromptu mummy costume, soft and warm!

I have used Charmin in the past but stopped to just settle for the less expensive kind. However, after using the tissue again, I will have to break down and continue to buy their product!! It is very soft and it feels great even when cleaning my nose. :-) I will definately let all of my friends and family know to go with Charmin.
