Charmin has shortened the width of their rolls of toilet paper and now cannot use them on my toilet paper holders that use compression to hold the roll on. They are not wide enough. I'm guessing this is a cost saver for them but a rip off for the consumer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have now used all 4 rolls. My initial comment would be that it gets the job done. It's absorbant for sure, but a tad on the rough side. It is definately thicker than the toilet tissue we normally use. I was worried about it with our septic system - but it does say on the package that it's safe for septic systems. Unfortunately we have had problems with the toilet plugging up the last few weeks. We have a rather sensitive system. I don't know yet if we can blame it on the toilet tissue or not. I will say it seems like a good quality toilet tissue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using a store brand of toilet paper for a couple years now. With 2 kids and potty training, we go through a lot of TP. I put this TP in my bathroom (ie. man room). I never really thought that toilet paper made any difference, and I was fine with my wife buying the cheap stuff. That was until I used the Charmin Ultra Strong that I received in my BZZ kit. I found the paper to be much stronger and softer than the store brand. I also found that because of the strength, I was actually using less than my old roll. I am not sure if we will switch the whole house to this, but I am sure that I will continue to use in my bathroom.

I purchased a pack of Charmin Mega rolls tonight at Walmart. When I got home and started to place them in the bathroom cabinet, I noticed that they were significantly smaller than some at the back of the cabinet that had been there for several months! What gives Charmin? Seems like sort of a cheap move on your part! I'd love to include a photo for comparison if that was possible. But there is no mechanism for that.

As soon as we got my 6yr old son wanted to go upstairs into our bathroom and get the toilet paper wet and do the stregenth test. I wish I would of taken a pic of the test. It passed with flying colors. One use of Charmin Ultra Strong and I was a changed man. It did the job right. My family was happy to switch. Thank you Charmin Ultra Strong for giving my family the chance to try your product. I would of never thought to even try a different brand. Had Sony bad experiences in the past. Glad I gave it another try.

I grew up with my parents purchasing the same kind my whole life and I've used it forever since. However, when I tried Charmin Ultra Strong, I realized how different toilet paper could be! This toilet paper is the right combination of soft (not too itchy or harsh) and strong (doesn't come apart or become lint). Also, it's thick enough where I don't need to use more than 2 squares each time unlike the cheap toilet paper out there.

Charmin is the only brand I use for good reason. Soft on the skin, but will not break up as you use it. But also light enough to where it will not mess up your toilet and septic system
