It's is actually true we have used less with more on the roll and it has seemed to last longer than our previous rolls. Having 4 of us in the house eveyone was an,e to get a roll. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am generally a pretty frugal guy. I don't mind picking up the generic versions of cereal, medicines, and yes, even toilet paper. After using this toilet paper, however, I am a changed man. Goodbye forever, store brand 1-ply toilet paper. I was immensely pleased with how soft and clean I felt after using Charmin Ultra Strong. I now understand that a few extra dollars at the grocery store is well worth the luxerious feel of a clean bottom, rather than the sand paper feel of the cheap one ply. I know there are some things in life that you should never skimp on, and after using this product, I understand this is one of them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new charmin ultra strong I s impressive. It is thick, soft, and does not tear apart when wet. I've had to readjust the amount of toilet paper that I use since my previous brand required that I wrap a few layers prior to using. Only complaint so far is that the roll may not last as long. Any chance this charmin ultra strong will come in a double roll? And what is the expected price for a 4-pack?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package arrived at my parents. My dad opened it and asked if he could use a roll. I told him he could. They liked it enough to go out and buy a package of this. The tissue is tough and feels good. I can see why they say a little goes a long way. You don't feel like you are going to break through like on some other stuff. I would buy this product again.

I strongly disapprove of your decision to change the width of Ultra Strong to approx. 1/4" smaller. Yes, it IS noticeable and DOES made a difference, a very negative difference in my opinion. I DO NOT LIKE the change, and after using Charmin for many many years I am now trying different brands. In other words, you are very likely to lose me as a customer, and I'm sure others as well. PLEASE go back to your previous width, and if necessary, shorten the roll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The roll itself was great. The toilet paper is just that - paper. Not the flimsy stuff that folds over on itself. You could take a piece of this stuff, hold it in one corner, and it would extend straight out, like holding a piece of printer paper. But, that was OK, once you got used to it, because it wasn't harsh material. One thing that annoys me, although not specific to this brand or product is the "this roll = x regular rolls" thing on the side. It just looks like puffery. Does anyone actually sell 'regular' rolls anymore? I think this roll actually was more substantial than others on the market, but it's hard to tell when everyone's comparing to a product that hasn't been available in the US in my lifetime.

Because of this I see more bathrooms than most and are subjected to all types of paper products. When my wife told me I had been invited to try the Charmin Ultra Strong tissue, I was excited. When I got home that glorious Bzz box was waiting for me. I was expecting a roll of paper...not a whole package. JACKPOT! I took the Charmin with me when I went back to work and at every truckstop and rest area I stopped at, yep a roll of Charmin went with me. Other drivers looking at me kinda funny because I'm carrying a roll of toilet paper with me but that's ok. I know I'm going to enjoy the experience and leave there clean. Not sure if I want to share this with anyone else. Maybe if some poor soul is stuck due to having no cardboard tissue, in the stall next to me. I might share a little. Don't know. Feeling kind of stingy with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the charmin ultra strong and put the rolls in our downstairs bathroom while we kept generic TP in the other bathrooms. What a difference. The generic one you better use double or triple the sheets. No need with the charmin and the charmin remained extra soft. Would definitely recommend it and use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charmin Ultra Strong really lives up to its name as it is very strong indeed. This is the first brand of tissue we have used that is this strong and thick. It does not tear off easily in the middle and even when it gets wet it still is tough. I found myself using less toilet paper already. It is very soft to touch as well so this is definitely a plus for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always in the market for some high quality toilet paper, so I thought this campaign would be a great way to try out a new brand. I have been using Cottonelle for years and really like it's durability and soft feel. While the Charmin is nice, it's just not as nice as my old brand. It's certainly better than a lot of TP out there, but I think I'll be sticking to my old brand.
