Love this chair

The rear towel bar, or extra support bar when laying back. This bar is very stiff when new. DO NOT pull with one hand, you take the chance of bending or breaking the bar. grab both sides of the towel bar and pull up fast and firmly. It may not budge the first time, (I was afraid of breaking the plastic hinge). this might take 3-4 times. But it worked. Now the chairs themselves. We purchased two chairs with the matching umbrella. We couldn't be happier. The build quality, the pouches, cooler on the back, the mutiple recliner positions and most importantly the comfortability of the chairs. If you're comparing these to others. these are great! Very comparable to other more expensive name brands.

the quality of these chairs seemed great. bought 1 year ago. pulled out of basement yesterday to go to beach, and handle broke off of 1st one. thought it was a fluke, then the 2nd on broke off. took a closer look, and realized that the material of the chair is literally just crumbling. these chairs were never even in the water at the beach, just the sand. save your money and buy elsewhere. i have never bought a bad members mark product until these chairs. nearly $80 down the drain for a 1 time use! super disappointed!

This Member's Mark beach chair is very clever! It's constructed well. It has backpack straps for easy portability! There is a towel bar on the back of the chair that also doubles as a base if you want to lay the chair down. There is also a built in pillow. Skip renting beach chairs at the beach or pool and just bring these! A great price also. There are several different patterns and colors to choose from.

Great chair for the beach! We bought three of these for our trip to the Gulf Shores, expecting long days on the sand. They are very sturdy, easy to carry and set up, and comfortable for beach naps. We liked the two cup holders, and the storage in the back - including a cooler! We paired these with the matching umbrellas from Sam's and were very happy.

the chairs are very comfortable for the beach . For the picnic tables the chairs of the material is lightweight and very easy to move on the go for . Different places the chairs are a good height for a family of four and friends to visit and chatting.

I appreciate the attached pillow on this that wouldn't fall off when you pick it up to carry to the car. I also haven't seen a beach chair with zippered bags on the back to keep your books and snacks out of the sand. The color options aren't a wow for me but good enough considering the other smart features. The towel rod to keep you towel sand free is also genius. It is surprisingly sturdy feeling too. I wish there was a white or cream option with tan/ brown arms.

I ordered and was confirmed 2 striped chairs. I received one striped and one floral. When I questioned why, I was basically told TUFFS#*#T, by a staff member and a manager. This was on top of purchasing the higher level membership for free shipping but was told shipping wasn’t available for these items. I regret re-joining Sam’s Club after numerous years absent!
