You can use them over moderate to medium heat you don’t have to use high heat on them everything is cooked evenly. They are made of an non-stick coating. You don’t need to use any oil to cook in them. You can use them for frying , searing and browsing food. The handles are easy to grab . They are made of a great material. I just love them.

Perfect for frying up a single egg. They have nice long handles. Rivets are perfect. I use mostly wood utensils so perfect for me. I use at least one of them almost every day now. I would highly recommend to someone looking for a couple frying pans without buying a whole large set of pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tramontina gourmet 2pack comes with the 8inch and 10inch frying pan. This pan set is well made considering the company name Tramontina is from a well known blacksmith from Brazil. The pans are made to have hard anodized aluminum nonstick. They are heavy in weight even though you can’t tell by the pictures. The pans do take a tad bit longer to warm up, they are thicker then an everyday pan you get from a large set. Once they warm up ,the heat is distributed evenly in your pan. The food always comes out perfect. I’ve cooked many things in them. My eggs come out perfect each time. I haven’t had any issues with it sticking, so far it’s definitely non-stick pans. Some state that but don’t hold true. You can tell these pans are built to last for years. As long as you follow the recommendations of using the proper utensils and only hand washing them, you should be able to enjoy them for many years. They clean up fairly quickly with a quick wash. Don’t use anything abrasive on them when hand washing them. I’m pretty sure if you were to put them in the dishwasher it will ruin the nonstick portion of your pans, like most pans do if you were to put in the dishwasher, don’t take a chance, these pots are like art, you want to appreciate them for what they are.
