To our surprise it was not. Best nonfat we have drank. We will buy the 2% and whole milk soon and complete a taste test. We don't think you could go wrong in buying any of their milk. We like this milk better than what the grocery stores sell. The container is easy to carry, has a screw cap with a safety seal, easy to pour.

With the design being as it is, if the lid is even remotely tight, you can’t get a firm enough grip to twist the lid. We never had this problem before but the last month or 2 it’s been awful and we go through about 4 a week.

Usually, my husband has to get the cap off for me and then I use needle nose pliers to take off the protective seal (I do that because otherwise just the tab comes off, seal in place). While I appreciate the milk is sealed up so well, I am a mother with 4 kids. I shouldn't have to wait until my husband gets home to pour milk for our children. Until the cap and seal are improved I can not recommend to anyone who doesn't have a vice grip to get the cap off.

Doesn't fit in the frig as well as old design, harder to handle and doesn't pour a well. PLEASE go back to OLD GALLON CONTAINER!! THIS ONE GETS A FAILING GRADE.

Just about every refrigerator in America has been designed to fit the classic style gallon jug into the door. These do not, they're too tall. I'm sure some marketing team at Member's Mark thought they were clever with this, but it's actually forced us to purchase elsewhere. Since milk is one of those staple items we need to buy each time we get groceries, we will probably cancel our Sam's membership altogether because of this. A real shame.

I am confident that I will avoid all purchases of this milk, regardless of type, until the bottle design has returned to the former design or at minimum something more user friendly.

kh - 1 out of 5 stars review1/4/2022I agree with what a lot of others are saying... I'm a big strong guy but 80% of the time I can't get the caps unscrewed because they're on so tight. I literally have to go get a pair of large plyers to unscrew the cap. Also, I understand why you make the jug this shape, because you palatize it, but we don't like the jug design or it's thickness. If people don't recycle, they're throwing away a HUGE amount of plastic because this thing is so thick. The Skim milk (fat free) is always to close to expiration date to. We buy milk elsewhere whenever possible.
Container is a bad design

However, since changing the shape of the bottles these have become more and more difficult to open. Even the seal under the cover is difficult to pull of any more. What has happened to these bottles, what has changed? I have to use water pump pliers to turn the cap and a sharp knife to cut open the seal inside? My wife can't open it at all any more. Also, we exercise regularly and have no problem with other physical chores such as opening jars etc. Please see what you might do as we know many Sam's members must be having the same problem. Thank You.

Please Sam's reconsider this product. I truly am hesitant to continue buying Member Mark milk, frustrating and NOT user friendly .

PJ - 1 out of 5 stars review11/4/2018This style bottle has just been in our Sam's Club for a few weeks. The bottle is too tall to easily place it on the refrigerator shelf. I would be willing to deal with this issue, but in addition to that, the bottles are nearly impossible to open. I can't do it at all and my husband does it with great difficulty. I will be buying milk elsewhere unless the traditional style milk bottle is returned to the shelves at Sam's.
