I got the size large which is 10-12 for my 10 year old. She is very very active. This stayed where it would have and she said it was very comfortable. When she is doing her tumbles and flips, the shorts underneath helped keep everything covered. It washes very nice and doesn't come out wrinkled. It didn't bleed on anything when we first washed it.

This one is made like a nice name brand one for adults and comes with the built in shorts that aren't connected to the back so that you can lift up the dress and pull down the shorts! Amazing! A great dusty purple color with contrasting lavender details. We love that there are two pockets. The adjustable straps work well. It's a little tight under the armpits when you use them though. The shorts are only connected side to side on the belly part, the back part has a ventilation slit of sorts.

6 year old approved. Will see how it holds up in the summer but she seems to like the slightly loser fit. The straps seem a little cheap but for a petite kiddo it won't be a problem. She loves that she can lift the skirt portion and pull the shorts down to use the restroom.

This was a nightmare to get my daughter to put on and wear. Maybe because she's slender, but the top did not fit her right. There's adjustable straps. It's like a one piece with shorts, but the shorts are only sewn on/attached in the front. I suppose so bathroom breaks are easier? Was definitely not easy for her and just a bit confusing to put on as well. The shorts do have large pockets which is a bonus. But overall not something that works for our household.
