We used at the lake and had at the edge of the water. The water got inside the legs. The straps are difficult to use because they hang down when using and hard to adjust. I wouldn’t get them for any kind of water use.

This chair is great! My 6 year old can carry it on her back. Light weight. Comfortable. I would recommend, especially if you're a mom who has to pack lots of stuff for beach trips. 15/10.

These worked great. The 2 bags on the vack of the chair, the ability to lay flat, to hang my towel up, the cup holders and the backpack ability made thes chairs perfect for the beach. Oh and the adjustable neck pillow was perfect. You wont regret having theae at the beach.

It is both short in seat and back. Does not have enough room to lay head back and when adjust to have head and neck supported by chair back, your back is out of alignment. It would be good for a child. I am 5'10 so if you're shorter- may work for you.

I own four Tommy Bahama chairs, which I have purchased over the years. I had been meaning to replace one of the older ones due to wear and tear. I was at Sam’s today (early February) and not looking for summer stuff, but I happened to stumble upon these beautiful chairs. They are nearly identical to the Tommy Bahama chairs. Though, I found the chair designs a lot cuter than the Tommy Bahama’s of recent years. I picked up the blue and white palm tree print. When I got home, I immediately opened it up to test it out, It is fantastic - comfortable, attractive and lots of room for storage, including a personal ice chest on the back of the chair. The backpack option makes it easy to carry. It will also fit nicely in a wagon. A definite summer must have.
