[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not real satisfied witht the mixer. Butter sticks to the sides and won't mix in. I used room temp. Butter. Had one many years ago and never had this problem. And the clear cover wants to keep falling off.

Life is easier with a great kitchen tool, and my mixer is it. I need to get to the store and get some veggies so I can use my shredder to help me eat healthier in the new year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer works great and as expected, but the constant and repeated emails about purchasing an extended warranty are really making me question the long-term durability and quality of the product. If KitchenAid stands behind the quality of its products, you should not have to purchase an extended warranty. How many 'last chance' emails do they need to send?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Need to get used to speed setting. Made cookies and used too high of a speed, over mixing the batter and cookies baked flat. Was my first time using. But it does what it was designed to do. Hand mixers are not as effective as the Kitch Aide mixer, making the process much easier .

I've had my KA for a year and a half. I use it once a month or so. I have loved it - and purchased multiple attachments including the 2 pastas attachments and the ice cream bowl. Suddenly, in the middle of making a bread dough, the head stopped spinning. Considering the price point of the KA and the expected quality, this is very upsetting. My KA is no longer functional after maybe 20 or so uses.

Beaters don't mix the ingredients that get tamped down or caught around the "divet" in the bottom of the bowl.The divet is too deep. Must scrape the sides multiple times in a batch. Beater often falls off the mixer head. Latching on isn't tight enough. My old KA mixer from 1951(yes!) did not have this problem. The old KA beaters are worn so thin that I fear the metal will break off in the batter. It was a work horse for me. I am disappointed you do not make the beater replacements for my 1951 model. They should be universal beaters for ever.

Learning to use the mixer is easy and online ideas are helpful. Loved the color selections and accessory options offered. I am anxious to try something other than cookie dough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I hadn't waited so long to replace my 40+ year old Oster Kitchen Center! My new mixer is fantastic! So far from bread dough to cookie dough everything is so much easier. Plus it looks good on my counter!

But it definitely isn't as big as you think. It fits nicely on my counter for easy access. I use it all the time for making cakes, cookies, mashed potatoes and breads. I wish I had gotten one of these years ago!
