[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this mixer for nearly 2 months and use it more often than expected. It really speeds up my work in the kitchen. I store it on my counter top so I frequently use it with no hassle. My husband said that I’m like a kid with a new toy at Christmas. Clean up is simple too. I haven’t tried the shredder attachment but look forward to using it soon. So happy that I can easily shred chicken with the batter attachment.

I'm on my second Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed... The first one I had, the motor actually burnt - there was smoke coming out of it! Super scary. I do bake a lot, and I love making breads, so it is an appliance I use often. But since they call it the 'kitchen work horse', I never expected it to burn down on me. I bit the bullet and bought another one, because I love the way it looks and it is a good machine if you only use it once in a blue moon. Needless to say, that I now have my second one, and the motor started smoking again this past weekend while I was making bread. I guess this machine is only good for the person who bakes once in a while, or doesn't do much baking. If you're making breads and really using your machine, do not buy this appliance, or you may run the risk of it going on fire.

I make pasta and bread. I slice and dice. I spiral veggies. I can’t believe I waited all these years to get one! If you are trying to decide - just do it!

From Brownies to Cheesecake to Buffalo Chicken dip to Pizza Dough this mixer makes life so much easier! The Shredder attachment is great when I need to shred 3 lbs. of cheeses for Mac n' Cheese, and it does it in minutes. Clean up is a breeze as well, since most of the items are dishwasher safe. I should have purchased one years ago!

I am hoping Kitchen Aid will replace it. It would have been 5 stars had not been for this issue.

My first recipe made with this was The Banana Magic cake which required full mixing of ingredients and stiff whooping of eggs. Three techie came out perfect. Can't wait to buy the pasta attachments. Mines came with schedule and dicer attachment. I love my new KITCHENAID

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our mixer prior to our kitchen renovation. I’m the baker and have osteoarthritis. This is a game changer; less kneading, less pain. Got pasta, shredding and ice cream maker attachments. Fun. My first pasta was devious and easy. Great help, it now has a special cubby with a lift shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plastic piece inside (under control spring)cracked while making bread. Can't turn it on at all. Can't believe I have to figure out how to fix it. Probably used less than 20 times. First time for bread. This cost way too much to break so easily.
