I should have done this years ago. I was tired of turning the light at the garage door on every night and off every morning. Now it will light whenever something moves near the garage. PERFECT!

It was a fairly simple process to remove the previous fixture and install this one. It has all the settings you need to setup the light how you want. It detects well and adds a solid sense of security in areas you need it. It appears very durable and weatherproof. Well done!

This Westinghouse motion activated security light was an easy installation that can mount to the ceiling or the wall. In my opinion, you can install this security light with basic electrical knowledge. I do feel that the gasket should have been molded to the fixture. There are 4 settings to play with. The brightness can go 25 or 50 watt. The timer allows you to set the illumination for 1, 3 or 7 minutes from activation. The lux setting (daylight, dusk and night) and finally the sensitivity setting (low, medium or high) depending on your need. The triple light has a maximum detection of 80 feet. I placed it above my garage which works well to add light when we pull in the driveway.

Pretty easy to install this is a wired light so it dose need connections. It is motion sensors which I love it really helps when I'm outside getting my car ready for work in the early morning. It has good range it will sense me before I'm even under the light. It's super bright it lights up my whole driveway. This one dose have 3 lights one in the middle and one on each side the ones on the side do move some so it is adjustable I highly recommend your not going to get a better product for the price.

PROS: I was replacing an older fixture and found this fixture easy to install. Adjustments were easy as well. The light intensity was brighter than my old fixture and better for my application. CONS:I was disappointed that the enclosure did not feel more sturdy. I would have preferred metal over plastic. I am concerned how well the plastic will hold up in the bright Florida sun. I also would have preferred standard flood light sockets so that I could replace the bulbs. I'm replacing the previous fixture because the non-replacable bulbs are burned out. I dislike that the bulbs glow dimly all the time. I understand it is constantly drawing a small amount of power to operate the motion sensor but when motion is not sensed I really want the lamps to be off.

I purchased this item about 2 1/2 months ago. Initially it worked fine, but for the past few weeks, when it gets dark out, the light comes on and stays on. In order to have the motion activation work, I have to turn the power off to the light, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on. It's not a very convenient motion sensing dusk-to-dawn security light.
