Batteries are needed to use the remote control and drive the truck but once the truck collides with the dinosaur, the dinosaur gets trapped. Then you're able to tip the dinosaur into the back of the truck. My kids were playing with this for hours!!

The remote control is easy to use and the battery life lasts a long time before having to recharge. The size of the truck for transport and he likes to bring it with him everywhere. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall speed and how it moves over hardwood and carpeted surfaces. The wheels are well aligned. The car is fun to drive. The left side of the capture claw does not always stay open, even when not running into things. More then likely the capture claw misses or sends the dino flying but it is still fun to try to catch it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First the positive aspects - The Dino Catcher Remote control Vehicle performance is good. Easy to control and maneuver with good speed. It is sturdy and also a raptor was provided to catch and play. Negative aspect - The Weight of raptor is less because of which catching using the vehicle is not perfect. Also, after the catch expectation is to put the raptor in the cage and that is a manual process which needs hands. But, overall it is an entertaining toy for Dino favorite kids.
