I've waited to buy this machine for a very long time and finally took the plunge. This has been the worst online purchase ever. One email saying it's delayed, then no word. After a phone call and automated system saying it has shipped but no tracking number. Help line is over an hour and STILL no information and not a follow up email. The credit card was charged a while ago... Should've done it at brick and mortar.

How have I ever lived without this! I bought pasta 3 piece attachment the shedder slicer attachment & the veggie corer slicer. I used it 3 times in one Saturday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this model of machine but the lever that you use to lock and unlock the top of it does not always move when you push it. there's something wrong with it but I don't want to call kitchenaid because you have to wait on hold for a minimum of an hour. but I am very disappointed and I really need it switched out For one that works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the mixer it's self, but we cannot use the bread hook, cause it will not fit on the post of the machine. It has to be a bad job from the factory when it was made. The wire wisk and paddle work fine, but not the bread hook. This is why I gave it 3 stars, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

This is the second one i have bought since then, for our second home. I use my mixers ALL the time and they are a must-have in the kitchen if you enjoy cooking.

We used the shred/slice attachment last night and it was awesome!! I would recommend this stand mixer yo everyone who is considering purchasing one.

After 20 years going strong, it still worked but was getting 'wobbly' and loose. I wanted the newer model for the added features and to have a newer/tighter model. I handed the first one down to my wife's aunt (who will probably have it for another 20 years). These things are amazing and indestructible!!! I have made countless cakes, batches of biscuits, batches of mashed potatoes, and meat loaf's using the original and have already broken in the new one with the same. An amazing product for sure, made just as good or better than my old one. I love the attachments. it makes cheese shreds as soft as clouds!

Still learning and challenging myself to new recipes each week to keep it active as well.

The bowl and tilting head lock in place. The motor runs smoothly. It works great! So far, since receiving my KitchenAid mixer for Christmas, I have made bread multiple times, ground meat and made other baked goods. It's easy to clean, easy to use and I love it!
