I work outside so using SPF is essential part of my skin care routine. It is so lightweight on my skin; it seems to melt right in. It makes my skin look nourished and healthy, as well.

It is just fast enough that my skin feels truly moisturized without leaving a thick feeling on my face. I have combination skin, and I tend to break out if a product is too thick or a little greasy, plus I've been on tretinoin for a few months, so dryness and flakiness have been a real challenge. This has been a total game-changer for me and I am SHOCKED. I have had no pimples, no greasy shine, no white cast, and it sits beautifully under makeup. My skin looks so much healthier, and the improvement in dryness is dramatic. Honestly, it's one of the best daily moisturizers I've ever used, even though it's technically sunscreen. Two of my main concerns are sun protection and dry skin, and this solves both. This product had NO whitecast at all, which is so hard to find in sunscreen. It doesn't feel greasy, heavy, or uncomfortable on the skin either. I have a similar moisturizer sunscreen that burns my eyes, and this didn't irritate my eyes at all. I have occasionally had reactions to some sunscreens in the past, so I carefully tested this before putting it on my face and it didn't cause any irritation whatsoever! Sunscreen often causes me to break out, but this didn't cause any acne. I didn't notice benefits from the collagen yet, but every bit helps and I imagine it takes a while of consistent use for those benefits to show up. This seemed to stay put on my skin to keep me protected until I used an oil cleanser, then it came off well.

The texture is very lightweight and breathable. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy like some sunscreens. However, it does have the a sunscreen scent, especially while it's wet, which I'm not the biggest fan of. It does fade quite a bit as it dries though. It also blends in without leaving a white cast, which I love. The first time I used it, it did sting and cause redness just a little bit. I think this might be because although my skin is oily, it is also very dry around my forehead and eyebrows. After a couple of uses the stinging stopped. As far as hydration goes, it keeps my skin feeling normal and soft throughout the day. I can't say that I've noticed any real differences in my skin's appearance yet, but my skin does look and feel hydrated, and I haven't had any break outs so far.

I tested this moisturized on the back of my hand first before applying it to my face and glad I did. Come to find out I have an allergy of sorts to the SPF in it. I wish I could have tried it but now I know regular SPF is a no-go for me.

At first when I applied the moisturizer I thought it would leave me a white cast because of SPF but as I continued to blend it into my skin I had no white cast at all. Also I expected this to have a greasy feeling and leave me looking shiny but it didn't at all. Instead it gave me sort of a matte finish which I love as I have oily skin. My makeup goes good over this and it saves me a step in my skincare routine.
