This shopping cart is so cute but so overpriced. Poorly built and one of the wheels just broke off. Don't buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While absolutely adorable, this trolley is not well designed. It was challenging to assemble, and the wheels are not functional. As you push the cart, the screws tighten and the wheels become immobile. You’re better off spending your money on a plastic walker or shopping cart.

Putting on the basket is a true “choose your own adventure” and it comes down to trial and error to get it level. Fine product once assembled but the assembly engineering is lack luster at best. Pay a premium to fight with product assembly for an hour

If anything is put into it (literally just a doll), it falls down because there is no bar keeping it stable. It's very wobbly overall. If my husband wasn't great at building things, we would have been in a bad spot. he made his own holes and made it work because the directions were rough. I love all things Gathre and been a gold member for a long time, I was hoping for higher quality when paying so much.

But if you want to test your sanity, patience + marriage putting this together then by all means, buy it. The instructions are poor & putting the basket on? You might as well be blind. You can’t see where the holes are & have to guess a million times before you finally get it. Just before you blow up & chuck the thing luckily. Anyway, it’s super cute but putting it together is not enjoyable.

Would give zero stars if I could. My husband is an aerospace engineer who does carpentry as a hobby and said this was impossible to build as is, even with the assistance of a power tool. As such, we won’t be able to use the trolly as it cannot be used safely by our toddler. I really wish we had read the reviews before purchasing this for our daughter’s first birthday. I hope this review prevents someone from buying this. I will say, we adore our Gathre activity center and gymnastics block set but this product is very disappointing. I’m shocked it was put on the market for consumers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the trolley is adorable, it isn't very functional. My two year old had difficulty maneuvering it and it does not roll well. The wheels come loose often and the cart doesn't turn well. Bummed, but it is still 5 stars for cute. We also had difficulty setting up and ended up having to remove a part of the wheel in order to get the screw in! A bummer to pay a hefty price tag for something that is just okay..

I now know why this Shopping Trolley got such horrible reviews! It shouldn't be this difficult to put together. Also, the basket isn't stable so more nails/screws need to be added into the VERY HARD wood. Ours split on one side because of this. Way over priced for what you have to go through.
